Very intimate dining spot just on the outskirts of downtown Napa. I went in craving pasta but the short ribs special looked too good to pass up!

Super cute unassuming restaurant - the food was fabulous as well as the service. We really enjoyed the fettuccine entree.

Had an amazing meal at Pasta Prego Napa! 🍝 The salmon pasta was rich and creamy, and the seafood pasta was bursting with fresh flavors. Authentic Italian taste, cozy vibes, and great service and highly recommend! 🇮🇹✨We also enjoyed a very nice Moscato. 🥂

Wonderful local establishment withna decent mix of menu options. My only ask is for the food to come out hot... And I would've enjoyed a full bar/dirty Martini. Worth another try.

Great little restaurant - friendly, attentive service and excellent food! I ordered their daily special soup of the day which was cream of asparagus and grilled halibut with lemon and capers and mashed potatoes. They include a nice baguette with olive oil dipping sauce. Nice touch. I need to come back to check out their pasta!

We visited Pasta Prego for the second time last night after having an incredible first experience this past Friday. The food and service were excellent on our first visit, so we decided to forgo other dinner plans and return, unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The staff even went out of their way to chill my bottle of Chandon for after dinner, which I really appreciated. However, things quickly went downhill after that. Shortly after placing our order, our server went over to the hostess stand and began gossiping about our table in Spanish while glancing in our direction. My partner and I both noticed but decided not to say anything at first. When my partner later asked for more bread in Spanish, hoping to politely inform them that we could hear and understand them, the behavior only seemed to worsen. The server and other staff continued to gossip openly within earshot, making the experience uncomfortable and disappointing. We would even look over in their direction and make eye contact with them when we could hear them talking about this so they would know we could hear them. Before paying, I asked another staff member if I could speak with the owner. I was told she had just left but that they would provide her phone number. A few minutes later, we were given a handwritten note with a number for “Lorena,” and when we received our check, the server pointedly reminded us, in a sassy tone, that her number was also printed at the top of the receipt “so we can be sure to call her.” I’m not sure what prompted this unprofessional behavior toward us, especially after such a great first visit. We genuinely loved Pasta Prego the first time, but this second experience was so disappointing and uncomfortable that we won’t be returning.

Hair in my pasta. My wife had a hair in her dish. They would only remake the dish and acted quite indifferent about it. Shocking behavior from such a disgusting experience. They even complained to others customers that we were upset! Stupid behavior that is inexcusable. Bad Managers can ruin a restaurant! See the hair in the attached video on bottom edge of the bowl slightly to the left of center. Smh Check out the YouTube video about the experience at We Traveling.

Great little italian restaurant small, but nice. The pork tenderloin is very good.
I recommend getting it with rizoto instead of mashed potatoes. The halibit was a special for the night but was excellent. All six of us enjoyed our dinner is very much

Cannot recommend. We ordered a bottle of red which was served warm. I realize it's supposed to be cellar temperature but this was exceedingly warm, which was really surprising for a restaurant in napa as I expected them to be familiar with how to store and serve wine. The heirloom tomato salad was served with a heaping pile of fried onions for some reason, which completely ruined the fresh and light summer dish we were craving when we ordered it. The veal picatta was to be served with an Alfredo and pasta, which we declined because it was an odd combination as well. The pork tenderloin was also overcooked. Service was good but not sure why this is rated so highly.

An absolutely great quaint little restaurant. The service, food and ambience was amazingly good. We loved the cozy warm feeling. The menu has many choices. The food was very tasty. When you combine those elements with a friendly, very personable staff you feel overwhelming satisfied and want to return the next day. We love the restaurant and recommend Pasta Prego while in Napa, CA. It was quite a treat. Thank you!
