We recently discovered this winery during a visit to Napa and had the chance to enjoy their lovely garden area. Despite visiting Napa for decades, we only just came across it—and we’re glad we did. It’s one of the rare Napa wineries that welcomes families with young kids, something we’ve typically only found on the Sonoma side.

You’re allowed to bring your own food and relax on their patio. There’s no charge for reserving the garden, though they do require the purchase of at least two bottles. We really enjoyed their Malbec, while the Cabernet was a bit mild for our taste. The staff was exceptionally friendly and even offered us an extra bottle of Malbec on the house.

There’s nothing overly fancy here, but it’s now on our list of go-to, family-friendly wineries in Napa.

Came for a tasting last weekend and everything was amazing. Nancy led our tasting and she would not have been better, we loved the wine but Nancy made the whole experience - she was so kind, knowledgeable, and had the best time!

We had 2 bottles of wine in the outdoor area. I would recommend this if you are looking for a relaxed place to drink good wine.

We really enjoyed our tasting experience with our host Steve. He was VERY knowledgeable and took the time to explain the wines and answer any questions we had. We enjoyed the simple tasting and the property was gorgeous. Would like to come back and try the cave tour for a different experience.

Say they’re open till 430 but can’t buy a bottle or a glass or a tasting after 3:30 and very rude staff

We had an outstanding visit. We booked the cave tasting room for our son’s birthday and we had a great time tasting with Troy. He spent a lot of time telling us history, how weather influences aging and how to keep our wines. It was a great visit and worth the extra cost to sit in the cave.

What an unforgettable experience! We started our Napa winery tasting tour at Pine Ridge Winery and honestly, it was magic from start to finish. Dan, our host, was incredibly knowledgeable, charming, and made our tasting feel personal and fun.

He guided us through an exceptional lineup of wines—each one more delicious than the last—and the cave tour? Absolutely incredible.

The wines were so good that every tasting we did after this one felt like a step down. Can’t wait until our next visit!

Overall, Pine Ridge was our favorite Vineyard during our visit to Napa Valley at the end of 2024! We enjoyed our time here so much that we became members, and the staff greatly contributed to our decision! Not to mention that their Stags Crown Cabernet Sauvignon was by far the best we tried during our trip!

If you plan on visiting Pine Ridge Vineyards, do yourself a favor and reserve a tour of their cave!! The staff here are genuinely passionate about their wine and we walked away with a great appreciation because of their extensive knowledge! To top it all off, we ended our cave tour with an exceptional wine tasting in their Cellar 47.

The standouts were the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon from Carneros and the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville, everyone was split on which they liked more. In the end, nothing could have dethroned the 2022 Stags Crown Cabernet Sauvignon! This Cabernet Sauvignon is top of the line, it’s extremely smooth, flavorfully bold, and undoubtedly had a drawn out finish!

Guided Cave tour for 2. WOW. Personal, relaxed, informative. Steve was excellent, but I think the others would be as well. Thorough, prepared, engaging, off the chart wines,.You would be hard pressed to find better!

We visited Pine Ridge yesterday to celebrate my 50th birthday and did the Cellar 47 tour and tasting—it was absolutely amazing! Troy was an excellent host, Pine Ridge’s story and caves were so cool, but most importantly was how great the wines were! The experience is a must do! Can’t wait to return…

My wife and I had an excellent experience at Pine Ridge Vineyards. We opted with the Cellar 47 Experience and we both enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Steve, was extremely informative and insightful. The awesome part is that all the vineyards in Napa Valley have a positive working relationship with one another.

Pine Ridge Vineyards offers a beautiful estate and a well rounded selection of wines. While there were certain aspects of our experience we liked such as a happy birthday card from the staff, an intimate tasting experience, and one or two additional pours, we were turned off by a poor tasting host who lost his way through our tasting and pushed a little too much on buying more which is a side effect of the corporate mentality. If we had a different host I’m sure this score would be higher which is unfortunate because I hate to put down someone in a service role.
