This winery is fabulous. We came here for a birthday weekend getaway and Ian was our guy! We opted for the Fifth Moon tasting and Ian was so knowledgeable of all the wines. All the wines were very tasty and my friend ended up signing up for their wine club. Highly recommend!
Candace was amazing and so fun. Do the chocolate pairing!!!
RD Winery is the very first Vietnamese-owned winery in Napa so we had to visit. We loved the entire space from their Vietnamese food inspired menu, beautiful paintings, friendly service, and their delicious wine. They are also woman-run which you can tell with their thoughtfulness behind every corner. 🇻🇳💃🏻
We need to be back to try their entire menu and now we have an excuse since we are wine club members now. Absolutely a must visit if you’re into wine! 🍷🏆
We had such a lovely time! The winery is very relaxed and beautiful. There is a great variation of tasting choices. The food was delicious! Ian, our server, was such a delight. We will absolutely visit again!
Really loved our wine tasting paired with food. They accommodated my gluten-free diet and Ed made us laugh throughout the tasting! Super close to Eagle Vines Golf Club too.
We had such a great experience! Ian was fantastic—knowledgeable and attentive. The wine selections were excellent, and the charcuterie board was just as impressive.
Great service, environment and their wine and food was amazing.
Wine tasting with chocolate pairing 👌🏻 It’s really interesting and unusual idea for Napa Valley
Had a great tasting and cheese plate here close to our hotel with Ian as our host.
The wine flight we chose was entry level, but the wines paired well with the cheese and it certainly did not break the bank.
Ian was knowledgeable and provided some insight into the winery as well as other places to see while in Napa.
quite interesting

Had a wonderful tasting! Adrienne was so knowledgeable, kind, funny, and fun! The pairing of food with the wines was superb! Just awesome!
I recently spent a lovely afternoon at RD Winery, and it was such a great experience. The setting was beautiful, such a lovely garden that made the visit feel special. The wines were excellent, and our host, Adriana, did an amazing job of guiding us through the tasting, sharing just the right amount of information without overwhelming us. The whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend stopping by RD if you’re in the area, it's well worth the visit, I know I will when I pass through California again
Good wine and our host Ian was very friendly. However, I'm giving this winery 4 stars due to their clunky booking system. Here is what happened:
I wasn't able to book their wine tasting online so I called the winery to make a reservation. After that, I was then sent an email containing a link that I needed to use in order to confirm the reservation. The link pointed to the same broken website that handles new bookings. I was not able to confirm my booking through the website, so I got an email saying it had been cancelled (!) I called the winery one hour before my (cancelled) reservation started to ask if they could still accommodate our party of seven and they said yes. Unsurprisingly, once we got there the place was almost empty...
This is a non-traditional winery in cityscape. The vineyard is owned by Vietnamese family whose goal is to create wines that pairs with high flavor foods. It was a fun tasting focused on non-traditional Napa wines on a very hot (90+) day, Rieslings, Chenin Blanc, Rose (dry), and a red blend. Staff was amazingly nice and their ship fee for wines was wonderfully low at $15!
RD Winery offers a distinct Napa Valley experience. Unlike traditional wineries with vineyard views or castle-like tasting rooms, RD offers an indoor as well as outdoor space where you choose your tasting flight and seating after arrival. The indoor space is very open and has a coastal vibe because of the color scheme and the decor.
We opted for indoor seating. The tasting flight options range from $30 to $80, all including five tastings. We had a "covet pass" that waived the fee for the regular tasting, but my friend wanted to try the "captivating" selection (priced at $80). Thankfully, the pass covered most of it, and we only had to pay $30 extra.
We also shared a small cheese and charcuterie board. It included two cheeses, crackers, mixed nuts (mostly almonds and cashews), and dried cranberries. While decent, it wasn't particularly impressive.
Moving onto the actual tasting, out sommelier was knowledgeable and attentive, guiding us through the tasting with interesting details about each wine. The wines themselves were decent, offering a nice mix of whites and reds.
However, our experience was marred by a large, loud group seated nearby. They brought a barking dog, making conversation difficult. With the indoor space mostly empty, it felt like the staff could have placed them further away.
