Ok so this place is out of town from me. I was looking for somewhere with just basic american food and chose here. Parking is almost non existent. Looks like from outside like it used to be an old corner gas station. And when you walk in front door you are hit with realization that it must be the smallest indoor dining restaraunt youve ever seen. Seating capacity must be about like 15 people over 5tables. Theres also a bar where 4+ people can sit. The decor seems, i dont know, lacking. The different vintage salt and pepper shakers on each table was kinda fun. But thats probably because i used to collect salt and pepper shakers long ago. Space is cramped and looked like they were struggling with service. It took a little long to order and double as long to get food. Now to this point i was almost ready to leave. I admit i was a little impatient. I felt like i was starving. But.... but....let me tell you something. I was wrong. Im glad i was wrong. Everything before this sentence forget about and delete. I ordered a tri-tip sandwhich with au jus and i was floored. Best tasting tri tip ive ever had. By far!!! Not fatty, juicy, it was thinly sliced, there was a lot of it, it was bbqed just outside on their bbq grill. AMAZING!! I could only eat 1 half of sandwich, but took home other half and was dreaming the rest of day about when i would be able to finish the rest. The sandwich saved this review, from probably a 2 ☆☆ to (i wish) 5☆☆☆☆☆. The waitresses were also nice and deserving of the large tip.

Have always eaten in but tonight was Backdoor Barbecue. It was delicious and perfectly done. Great service too. Know these great people. Love the food. Sue and Bill👏❤️🌈
Best hamburgers ever! Small, cozy place. Great BBQ too. Found it near an Airbnb where we were staying. Unexpected surprise and delight.

Craved for bbq when we visited Napa. Rib and tri tip hit the spot for us. It comes with 2 sides. I got the tri tip soup which is really good. We also got the mac and cheese, slaw and potato salad which are alright. I like their salt and pepper shaker, different on each table. The one who got our order was accommodating.
