We love the wine but stayed for amber. She is lovly. She pulled our leg to take a few bottles home !! A choice I wont regret. I left there feeling like I didnt even spend money due to how happy the experience was. 10 out of 10

Very knowledgeable about her product and had a passion for their wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the time there. Wish we could have purchased more to take home to OZ.

This was our first time at Roots Run Deep and it was a blast! Sylvia let us do a blind tasting between their Pinot Noirs and Cabernet Franc’s and it was so much fun! RRD is definitely one of Napa's best kept secrets. Wine is great. So is the atmosphere of their downtown tasting room. But what (actually WHO) makes the place is Amber, the tasting room manager. I had the opportunity to experience the Hypothesis cab some years ago and finally made it a point on our most recent Napa trip to book this tasting. We opted to sit inside the living room area and throughout the whole tasting, we felt like we were in someone’s home where they were just delighted to share their bottles of wine with us. My SO and I opted for one each of the tasting so we got to experience all the wines they’re currently pouring and in addition to the Hypothesis cab, the Roberts Road Pinot Noir and the Scholar were stand outs. Highly recommended and definitely adding this to our regular rotation when we visit the region.

We also got lots of insider tips to navigate Napa! We bought $100 of wine and got the $40 taste free!!

Amber was our wine expert and Amber was amazing, knowledgeable on all the wines and helped us pick out one that was right for us. If I could give this 10/5 stars I would.Very welcoming environment; the house is gorgeous but down to earth with friendly staff to invite you in.You pick a location for your tasting (either inside, in one of their tasting rooms that feel like a well furnished friends house, or outside on the porch couch or at a patio table).You get to pick from 2 wine tasting profiles, and i honeslt did not need a wine I didn't like on this experience . Amber was our wine expert and she was excellent! So friendly and informative. Would recommend this tasting to any friend in the area.
