Local business and family owned, this is the place you want to support. The food is awesome, the people are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and they sometimes have live music. It’s my favorite pizza spot in Napa.

I was craving pizza while I was in Napa and came across a photo of a HUGE SLICE OF PIZZA! So of course I had to check it out!
Rutherford Family Pizza is located at the Food City Plaza (I think that's what it's called?). I remember always seeing this pizzeria the times I got coffee next door, but they were always closed, so I am glad I finally got to try them out!
Yelp Elite Dario O. and I came during their lunch special hours, which is any 2 NY slices + a drink for $12. Tuesday to Saturday 11 AM to 4 PM. I really wanted the huge slice of pizza so we ended up getting one NY Slice of pepperoni and one CA King Slice of pepperoni.
And wow! The size difference is mind blowing! How does a pizzeria make a pizza so big?! They serve NY Style Pizza so it's thin crust. The pizza was thin and crisp with a little fluff in the crust. Not super duper oily, too! The CA King slice of pizza held up well, too. You'd think that maybe it would be all flimsy and maybe oily, but nope. Not at all!
Service was great. After ordering, they'll serve the slices to your table. Whoever was working that day saw me taking pictures and videos so when a fresh pie of the CA King pizza pie came out the oven, I was invited to take a photo/ video. I'm so glad I did because that pie was MASSIVE! Lol! I almost ordered another slice just because.
Ambiance was chill.
I really enjoyed their pizza so I look forward to dropping by here for another slice!

Heard really good things about this place from some friends and brought my family here. We were all very impressed with food and everyone was really friendly. Will definitely be coming back here again and highly recommend to anyone.

We ordered the supreme and the veggie and we all loved the flavors of the pizza. One of us thought the pizza was slightly dry and a bit overcooked but the actual taste of the pizza was fantastic.
The only thing we would suggest is that the beverage choices are not great. We ordered white wine and it was just ok - which is a bit ironic given where we were.
Great place for a slice. Nice guys behind the counter! Outdoor seating.

When they first opened this place was 5 stars. I guess they're a victim of their own success. Tonight a friend ordered to go pizza via doordash. I went to pick it up when doordash said it was ready. The staff kept telling me the order wasn't ready, 3 times. One of them even gave me the hand. 30 minutes after doordash said the order was ready and 5 hungry kids later, after I asked if they even had the order in the system, they finally admitted they had given the order to someone else. They said they'd make the order again deliver ASAP. We waited almost another hour and after repeated unanswered calls the pizza finally arrived. Good pizza. Terrible service.

We have enjoyed coming here since it opened and it seems like the proprietors are taking time off for themselves and left it in the hands of people that don’t care. Asked for a margarita pizza with olives and mushrooms got a cheese pizza with mushrooms and olives. Quite honestly was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. (See photo)

Ok, I gotta tell ya! Cory was telling us about his mom’s homemade Alfredo sauce that they use. So we got a white sauce and a red sauce pizza and this stuff is fantastic! Organic flour organic produce organic everything and this place brings the flavor! They also have a seller gluten free pizza. We had both crusts! This is an absolute must and I am a complete food snob!
