This local downtown fave has a sister restaurant, Don Giovanni-both are good. This time we had lunch. Between the four of us we had lasagna, ravioli, and halibut accompanied by salad and lemonade. All good with a bright atmosphere.

Delicious. The vongale pasta was enjoyable and so was the side of spinach. Atmosphere was classy too. Portions were small though, I was still hungry afterwards

The food at Scala is AMAZING! We were staying in Downtown and wanted to eat locally. The atmosphere was light and hip. The service was excellent, with everyone checking in. We ordered the Pasta with shrimp and clams ( gamberi and Vongole) and the Veal Scalapini ( I’m sorry for butchering the spelling…) The Pasta was fantastic, but even better was the Veal! They make the stock with a sauce that takes time and is velvety. We can’t wait to go back, we already know what we are going to order!!!!
