Busy, loud - recommend sitting upstairs for noise levels but only one server meant we waited a LONG time even to order drinks. While the server was helping us she was not attentive and the experience did not feel elevated although the food was great as always.
Wanted to love the food, but it's just not very good, we live in Napa so we are familiar with all the restaurants, was very excited to dine in here. The restaurant was very crowded. Lots of people waiting for seating, very nice atmosphere inside, service was really good, nice wine list. But just felt the food was extremely average, which was disappointing... 
This was our first time going to Scala.  my son chose it to celebrate his 16th birthday. We absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff was amazing, great customer service. I go to Napa a lot and have noticed that Napa has gone downhill at wineries and at restaurants when it comes to customer service. The food was 10/10!  we loved the watermelon salad and the calamari was the best I've ever had. Every dish was great. We will definitely become regulars here. Great job...
