My husband & I recently did the horseback riding/wine tasting experience, which runs about $500 for two people. While we had an enjoyable time at Shadybrook, I felt that the trail riding lacked and was almost like a slow carnival ride. The wine tasting was great! Just with suggest saving your money on the horseback riding. Otherwise highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough nice things about this experience. I booked a horseback ride and private tasting as an activity on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Our trail guide was wonderful and knowledgeable and the horses were sweet and beautiful. The views and property—stunning.
When it came time for our tasting, our wine expert Roxanne catered the tasting menu based on what wines we already knew we enjoyed. This was appreciated since I’m not a huge red wine person, which tends to dominate a lot of CA tasting menus.
All the selections were delicious but especially the Rapp Ranch Rosé.
The charcuterie board was delicious (and so pretty). Our wine expert explained the pairings and even had a handout for us to take home.
Well worth adding to your Napa Valley itinerary! They really roll out the red carpet for guests!

Absolutely stunning location for a post-wedding wine tasting! Came here to celebrate my cousin and her husband. There was a charcuterie board, a tasting of 5 wines from lightest to richest (white to red), cornhole, and and several standing tables. I wish there was more coverage from the heat and a refill of the charcuterie board, but besides that, no complaints. The staff was nice and open to answering questions about the wine process; you’d have to ask since they’re busy attending to everyone’s drinks. I really enjoyed their red blend.

For our 25th anniversary we decided to book their ultimate romance package. Started with a 30 minute horse ride through the vineyards. Thanks to Lexi for a wonderful and informative ride. Next we met Kerri at the terrace for our wine tasting. Very informative and interesting, great wines pared with cheeses, meats, fruit, and veggies. Topped off with a small delicious cake. Guys, if you want to score some points, this is it!

They had some nice wines but the whole experience fell a little short. We had to wait a while between the pourings and the servers/presenters appeared rushed and very busy to talk to us properly about their wines. It seems the place would benefit from some additional staff so they have time to present the wines appropriately.

Gorgeous experience, trail ride through the vineyards with spectacular views followed by a gorgeous wine tasting on the terrace (views!) paired with a special charcuterie board. The wines are delicious! (I did the Shadybrooke wine pairing- next time I’d like to try the Rapp Ranch pairing)
We had a terrific time in this winery. We did not have a reservation but still they had and excellent service. The wines we tried were really good and the views were amazing. Highly recommended

I highly recommend the Ultimate Ranch Experience if you’re looking for something unique in Napa! The young women who led the horse ride did an outstanding job making sure everyone felt comfortable and even took photos for everyone. Great wine and cheese afterward and the view is hard to beat. We stopped at Shadybrook around 3:45 pm and they looked closed so I called the number while sitting in the drive way, Ariel Green answered and did let me know the last tasting was at 3:30 pm. She asked how long we were in town for and I did tell her we were leaving the next day and there were only 2 of us, she put me on hold, not for long and she said that she would take us for a tasting, her customer service skills were impeccable, so pleasant and knowledgeable and accommodating. I would recommend this Winery to anyone the outside seating has beautiful views of the rolling hills and it's well shaded, the grounds are so beautiful and their wines are very good.
