We stopped by hoping to enjoy a drink with a view, but the experience didn’t meet our expectations. The atmosphere felt pretentious and touristy from the moment we arrived. Without a reservation, we were told to “try to find something near the bar.” While it wasn’t crowded at first, the space quickly became chaotic, with several people vying for a spot to stand.
The wine menu was subpar, and bar service was slow even when the crowd was light. While the view is undeniably gorgeous, it seemed like most people upstairs were there for the drinks rather than the experience, creating a less-than-inviting vibe.
Great view of Napa Valley and the food is great and not too expensive!

We had an extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable experience at this restaurant. After finishing our meal, my wife and I stayed to chat and were among the last of our group to leave. As we were leaving, we were stopped by a staff member accusing us of not paying our bill. Shocked, we immediately went back to clarify the situation.
Despite our cooperation, no one could provide a receipt or explain what was supposedly unpaid. After a lot of back-and-forth, the managers, Mark and Haley, finally informed us that it was a mistake—they had miraculously found cash.
This entire ordeal made us feel humiliated and uncomfortable. It’s shocking that the staff did not take the time to confirm their facts before accusing guests of not paying. The lack of professionalism and tact from both the staff and management was disappointing. We will not be returning.

10/10 do not recommend especially if you are a person of color . The manager Hailey is very unprofessional and so is her staff Victoria . I watched everyone be served and when I brought to the manager attention that I had been waiting an hour for 2 order of French fries she had the nerve to have an attitude that on behalf of that fact that I was frustrated that I had no been served . She then goes to say she was unaware of the issue yet in the same sentence said that there was no ticket for my order yet she had the receipt that I had showed her in her hand . She was so fixated in telling the African American bartender what he was doing wrong that she failed to see that we had went a whole hour without our food .

Would not recommend this place! Went there with party of 6 and had 1 drink. We inquired about a poopy smell and they dismissed it was if it didn’t exist, but it did. They then charged us 20% gratuity on the bill!

Would not EVER recommend. The rooftop bar is a VERY DANGEROUS floating floor and two of our party of 8 had the floor collapse under them tonight twisting his knee and In the fall, a drink (small rocks glass) and broke. Our guest instinctively apologized for the broken glass and noise although none of the event was his fault. The closest 2 bouncers/security who saw it happen also apologized to our party for the floor failure and said they would take care of the floor/new hole and broken glass but then may have advised the bar to immediately cash out our group. Within a couple moments of the floor collapse, our party returned to the bar where the bartender rudely advised our party they were not to be served another drink (they had been served 3 rounds total) and blamed the the guest in our party for the new hole in their floor. We were not at fault for Sky & Vine’s negligence and defective rooftop flooring. Their floor is clearly (see pictures) an unsupported “floating” tile floor resting on small corner supports 3-4 inches above an (assumed) old asphalt roof. This setting could collapse beneath guests at a moments notice as it did with us tonight. Other than a bruised twisted knee; the bar is lucky no one was severely injured. We paid our bar tabs (2 separate tabs) in full plus gratuity, including the full drink that fell on the floor when the tile gave way under his feet.
Multiple Pictures are attached of the floor after the tile broke and left a gaping hole. The broken tile and broken rocks glass was quickly cleaned up by staff and Caution signs seen in the photo were set out our group was collecting and paying bar tabs and dealing with the rudest bartender and management. This was an incredibly dangerous situation and INSTEAD of an apology and kindness; the management and bar staff retaliated with rudeness and aggressive behavior toward our group.

The food was just mediocre. I had chicken and waffles. I asked for warm syrup because the waffles was lukewarm, I didn't get warm syrup, I asked for a straw and lemon for my water, I didn't get the straw or the lemon. My food was served, but I had to wait for silverware. The waiters barely checked on me, I had to flag them down. The only thing good was the band and the Bloody Mary. I would not recommend Sky and Vine to anyone.
The food and service were outstanding. I was a little disappointed because I requested ledge seating in the reservation, and even though there were lots of seats available, we were sat at a table in the back behind a tall table full of people.
Janese, Fernando, and Eric gave us amazing service! Great drinks, great views, and great vibes.

Be sure to ask for ledge seating or a table close to the view; otherwise, they'll seat you in a bad corner while you watch 5-6 better tables go unfilled for an hour. Waiter was good. Hostess was utterly unhelpful. Manager listened but given she directed the hostess, is not yet customer-centric. (Other than that, drinks were expensive. Food was average. Dog-friendly a plus.)
Great atmosphere.

20 minute wait for drink order. Appetizers never delivered. Pizza looked amazing on website pics, but looked like a dominos pizza when it arrived at table. A decent view does nothing when your management lacks the skill set to correct major functional problems.
It was hard to find. When we got there, we were seated and then it seemed like we had to wait for everything. The waiter, the water, the menus, our drinks, our food, (you get the idea). They were busy, and it was loud. Could have been a nice relaxing way to start a Sunday, but it was not meant to be.
The location was gorgeous, they had live music, and the ambiance was very festive to celebrate a birthday. The staff were friendly but the service was sub par. Perhaps they were overwhelmed but our server was non existent which was troublesome since we paid for bottomless mimosas. Overall we got 3 which made it work the cost compared to ordering a single glass. There was a very long wait for food but we entertained ourselves. However, when they brought out the food, it was in stages. Two of us got our meals 15 minutes before the last entree was delivered. The two things we got for the table were delivered last. It was very strange. Also, we ordered the chicken and waffles and our waffles were deep fried, the table next to us ordered the same and they looked normal. Over all it was just ok. We made the best of it and it was perfect environment for celebrating a birthday but service could improve.
