Slanted Door Napa Reviews
My sister called to reserve a table for a party of 12. A night before the reservation my sister emailed Sierra and reached out to them about the menu to make sure they can accommodate the size of our party and they assured us that they can. When we got there the place was nice. The people were nice, I felt so confident that we made the right choice. We were presented with two menus 1 is for a family meal (recommended for big party) and the 2nd menu is a regular dinner menu....read full review

Slanted Door Napa is a modern restaurant with a unique atmosphere, featuring a center garden dining area, two all-glass indoor dining rooms, and a glass kitchen wall. Open for 18 months, the restaurant offers incredible outdoor seating in its courtyard, creating a delightful setting for a meal. The cocktail list is interesting, with the Singapore Sling being a highlight. The menu includes amazing items like yellowtail, vegetarian spring rolls, banh Nam, and cellophane noodles, as well as popular dishes such as Short Ribs, Beef, Halibut with Jasmine Rice, and lemongrass tofu. Guests have commented that sharing dishes enhances the experience, as everything looks great and has fantastic flavors. The sommelier, Maury, is particularly knowledgeable and engaging, providing excellent wine pairings, including a great selection of Riesling and a wonderful bottle of Austrian wine. The dessert menu changes often, and the chè chuối is praised for its home-like taste. The restaurant also offers a range of vegetarian options, including the beloved lemongrass tofu. Overall, Slanted Door Napa promises a delightful dining experience with great food and service, making it a memorable choice for special occasions or casual dining. However, some customers have noted that it can get very loud when the dining room is full, and suggest sound-absorbing panels could help. Despite this, many believe the restaurant effectively elevates classic Vietnamese family-style dishes while maintaining their true flavors and generous portions.
