This was my second time to the new Napa location and it didn't disappoint. We ordered everything to share, and it was all fantastic - yuzu chili glass noodles, eggplant, the lamb with french beans, and the daikon rice cakes. The Somm was easy to chat with and picked out a yummy rhone wine (Crozes-Hermitage) which paired well with everything.

Absolutely one of my favorite meals in Napa! Top notch across the board, every bite was exceptional and I can't wait to come back!

Consistently one of the best dining experiences in Napa! Every time I visit I know I can count on my favorite dishes being just as delicious as the last time. Outstanding plates and plate-ups, service is always that lovely blend of professional and warmth. One of the best and most interesting wine lists, too. Such a treat to have such amazing cuisine like this without the drive to SF :)

Excellent meal with outstanding service. We had a vegan with us, and he was easily able to find high quality offerings; and we mixed in a few seafood dishes for the rest of the pescatarians.

amazing menu items, started with yellowtail, vegetarian spring rolls, banh Nam, then cellophane noodles, lemongrass tofu and eggplant, and to finish a plum tart, great wine list, discovered a great bottle of Austria wine. smooth service, perfectly timed and great server, the only issue was the table location next to the kitchen, stay away from that table but otherwise an amazing evening.

We had a great lunch. Food and service were excellent. Also, discount on champagne at brunch is a nice touch

The service was atrocious and so appalling that we will not return. We ordered drinks and after waiting twenty minutes, someone in our party had to go to the bar and ask for them. The server told us he forgot the drinks because he was too busy writing down our food allergies (there was one). Further into the meal, we ordered another round of drinks and waited another 20 minutes (keep in mind, the restaurant was not busy). The same person in our party tracked down the sommelier to ask for the drinks and he was incredibly rude and condescending (I'll spare the details about his behavior). I asked to speak to the General Manager and she was completely flippant about the entire situation and I did not walk away with the confidence that she's effectively managing the restaurant. She removed the service charge so at least acknowledged how poorly delivered our experience was. I would heavily recommend other Asian inspired restaurants before going to Slanted Door (e.g., Morimoto, Carabao, etc.).

One of the best restaurants in Napa - staff is incredible and food is amazing. Maury the somm is especially knowledgeable and engaging - incredible Riesling selection pairs perfectly with the food!

Great vibe, great food!

We love everything about this place. The food, service, dining room. So lovely. My only input is that it gets VERY loud when the dining room is full. Some sound absorbing panels would definitely help.

We ate inside this time, fairly quiet which was nice. Great food and we split a lot of dishes. We love going here!!

Was it pricey? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%.
We came in without high expectations since it doesn’t look like a traditional Vietnamese restaurant — but after just a few bites, I knew I was completely wrong. The Slanted Door does an incredible job of elevating classic Vietnamese family-style dishes while keeping their true flavors and generous portions. Delicious Vietnamese food made with real, quality ingredients, yet presented in a way that perfectly fits the luxury vibe of Napa Valley — I completely understand and respect that.

The dessert menu seems to change often, but the chè chuối I had tasted just like home. Overall, a genuinely satisfying experience that anyone who loves Vietnamese food should try.
