St Clair Brown Winery & Brewery

We had booked a reservation weeks in advance for a birthday. When we showed up to our confirmed reservation the restaurant was completely closed. They had even texted us the day before to confirm. I understand there was a little bit of sprinkles but the least your establishment could do is call to let us know you would be closed. We were left with no where to go. All places nearby were booked. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Amazing experience! We met the owner and she took the time to walk us through the winery production process, super kind! There's such a chill atmosphere, the appetizers were also wonderful. Will definitely visit again when in town ❤️

Best little hidden gem of Napa Valley! Highly recommend, amazing staff!

Not your normal winery and brewery! It’s a unique environment where you are surrounded by a garden that is used in their food and drinks. We had one of the owners serving us and she was so sweet! It was neat to learn about each item we tried!

Beautiful setting in the garden, friendly/helpful/knowledgable staff. Came briefly visiting wine country and didn’t expect the beer here to be as delicious as it was.

Cara and Kyle were the best! They happily allowed us to taste all and every wine and beer available to us and were knowledgeable enough to give us every detail about the brewing and fermenting process of everything we tasted. They also let us sample all the delicious, fresh, and in-house foods that they grew on location. They both provided an intimate and inviting atmosphere for my mother’s birthday and I couldn’t recommend it here more. Thank you so much from your friends from NJ!!!!

One of our favorite stops on a recent trip to Napa. It was a big treat to meet the winemaker, Elaine. It was incredible to hear about the wines from the person who helped to create them. The setting was natural and beautiful. To top it all off, they had thoughtful and delicious non-alcoholic options, as well.

A hidden gem

This place was highly recommended by my friend who lives in Napa and has worked in the wine industry. The tasting room is outside in a beautiful edible garden across the parking lot from the brewery. When I arrived, I was seated in a shady corner of the garden, where they grow many of their own ingredients. It was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the smells of the summer afternoon. The outdoor space is gorgeous and arranged so that every table has shade.

My server, Cara, was wonderful. I asked for her recommendations and she planned a masterful tasting for me. She started with me with a pair of white wines, a subtle sauv blanc and buttery chardonnay. The next pair was unexpected, and by far my new favorite thing, a rose alongside their red ale. They are both exceptional, especially between bites of the fig olive tapenade (HIGHLY recommend). The last pairing was their merlot and syrah, which I had with the delicious pork rillette. For a sweet finish, I tried the non-alcoholic peach lavender switchel.

Overall, 11/10! Cara was able to answer all my questions and teach me a bit about everything I tried. I highly recommend St. Claire Brown for wine and beer connioseours alike, they truly excel at both. This would be a great place to take a group of friends where everyone can enjoy everything in a beautiful oasis hidden just up the street from downtown Napa.

We started our Napa vacation here because it was dog friendly. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed.

Awesome experience, both the wine and beer were fantastic. Kara helped us and did such a great job showcasing the beer and wine. It was a beautiful spot and a few hours flew by.

This is such a little oasis. The garden was such a lovely spot to enjoy a great Kolsch. Elaine and her team were so welcoming and hospitable.

Had the most wonderful time at St. Clair Brown yesterday. We could not ask for a more enjoyable experience - the wine was some of the best I’ve ever tasted, so beautiful and well balanced. Sitting in the garden, relaxing with family and friends, being 100% pampered with amazing food and wine, it could not have been more perfect. Laina was the most gracious hostess; I will not miss the opportunity to visit and enjoy St. Clair Brown every time I’m in Napa.
