Just returned from a long weekend getaway at Stanly Ranch and absolutely LOVED every moment! From Monica's wonderful help pre-arrival to Michael and the other ranch hands assisting with checkin and bags, so the countless ways the staff treated us with kindness, I'm over the moon grateful to this team! Thanks for a fabulous stay. I can't wait to stay at your property again soon!

It’s the hotel people stay when they want something better than their luxury home. Heated bathroom floors are a nice touch. Softest hotel bed I’ve used. Can’t wait to bring my wife here.

Stanley Ranch might have been a fabulous hotel but it’s located in an unfortunate spot. It’s right by a major highway so you hear the traffic noise if you go outside. It hasn’t been around long enough to have any nice garden development so it looks a bit like regimental housing. You have to park your own car or have it valet parked by staff and then walk to your room or take one of their shuttles. It’s not a two minute walk as they say but much more like a 8 to 10 minute walk. At night everyone gets lost trying to find their room. The lighting is terrible and I almost killed myself falling on a step that should’ve been lit up, but the light was burnt out. The people that work there are delightful and try very hard.

I do think that a room that costs $1600 a night deserves some nice amenities to welcome the guest. No such thing existed in my room with the exception of one dog biscuit and a dog bed. No welcoming gift, no bottle of wine, no flowers, no snack, no nothing. There was plenty of things to pay for in the mini bar but no welcoming gifts. I think this is a big mistake.

The restaurant has delicious food, but it’s so noisy you can’t possibly have a interesting conversation. There’s something about the place that I really liked, but the location is not good because if you’re interested in touring the Napa Valley, you are far from the wineries. If you want to walk through Saint Helena or Calistoga, that’s at least a half hour from this ranch. Keep this in mind when planning your day and please! Don’t forget a flashlight!

Safety: The pathway is very dark at night and the lighting is poor so it’s easy to slip and fall. Remember to bring a flashlight.

Walkability: The front desk will tell you that it’s a two minute walk to your room, but unless you’re running like a marathon or there’s no way that would be possible

Truly the best birthday weekend at Stanly. The staff was so kind and accommodating (shout out to Ernesto and some others!).

The Bear had menu items that kept us coming back. They also nailed a matcha latte which is so important to me as a non coffee drinker.

The spa is incredible. I had probably the best massage of my life so far with Kayla! The amenities were also top notch. It’s not overcrowded which was so nice.

It’s so conveniently located and super close to downtown Napa and lots of wineries. We will be back soon!

Loved the layout of the property and the rooms.
The food was good at Bear, but it didn't hit a home run, in my opinion. The staff were amazing, and everything Auberge has in its values. Located at the foot of Napa and close to the highway so you would hear traffic from time to time if you're in one of the rooms on the outskirts.
Great place for a short getaway!

Rooms: Nice rooms with great amenities. My time was mostly spent in meeting rooms and outside loading buses for offsite activities. The staff here are outstanding!!!

Food and drinks: Stanly Ranch was a great venue for us (offsite business meetings for 40+ executives). This was due mainly to the great service from our account manager to the spa director to the wonderful valet professionals. I have high standards and I rank Stanly Ranch very high due to them being so responsive, courteous and efficient! If I owned this place, I would have given everyone a nice bonus!

Going to stanley ranch, auberge resort was truly a wonderful experience. The bear was the best restaurant i've ever been to. If you're in the napa area and want to go to a high end restaurant i recommend going to the bear.

This is the life for those u can afford it, or whose company / client can. Most of the rooms are in detached private cabins and if walking a few yards isn’t your thing, (or u have heels of course) their electric buggies will move u around. The staff are super friendly and professional, even the guys working the greenery/paths are friendly and helpful. Has 2 great pools, one for the spa and a bigger one near the restaurant. The spa is top quality and the coffee shop is great too, with plenty of shaded outdoor seating (but watch out for bird droppings on the seats) though nothing has prices marked, and as they say, if u have to ask… Will be going again I’m sure.

What an operation this is! We found the management of every detail to be top notch and believe me there are lots of details. Overall, an incredible property. Our suite checks as many boxes as anywhere we've ever stayed. Excellent AC, dimmers, fireplace, heated bathroom floors, automatic curtains, mini bar with nespresso and tea, fresh milk daily, huge lap pool (not too warm at 80). Gym and yoga room are very nice, just don't expect lots of weights or lifting machines. The on site restaurant was very good and we loved the coffee shop. When we arrived, they were adding landscaping behind our patio. They installed shrubs that are maybe 24" tall, 5 ft apart. This is the one area they need to address. If these shrubs were 48" tall after planting and say 30" apart, our patio within 12 months would be private. Not sure how such an amazing place has this one blind spot, but its such a lovely resort that it deserves a 10 out 10. Ok maybe a 9 because the layout leaves room privacy compromised. Service all around is excellent!

We had an incredible stay at Stanly Ranch in Napa! The hospitality was top-notch, and the property is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed with a serene atmosphere. A special perk is their partnership with Mercedes-Benz, which allows resort guests to use a courtesy car during the day—a fantastic touch that made exploring Napa even more enjoyable. I’ve been here twice now. Amazing every time. Had such high expectations coming back for my second visit and they were exceeded. Any bad review is probably just a spoiled brat tbh.
