I eat lots of tacos. I love tacos. I really wanted to like this place. I could not.
The meat was very bland. They absolutely need more salt and seasoning.
The red salsa they pour over the tacos is too “sharp”. This is what happens when none of the veggies are roasted or at least charred.
Maybe you’ll like them but they’re a big no for me.

Tacos Chavez is a Napa gem! Eddie, the owner, runs one of the best taco trucks in town—no frills, just straight-up incredible tacos. The meat is always tender and flavorful, the tortillas are perfectly griddled, and the salsas pack the perfect punch. You can tell everything is made with care and love. This place is all about tacos, and they’ve absolutely mastered them. If you’re in Napa and craving the real deal, Tacos Chavez is a must.

I've been a loyal customer of Tacos Chavez since the days of the Sawyer Tannery, when they were making sheep seat covers and Tacos Chavez was also making tongue tacos. Those were the days of playing Double Dragon as a kid at the Circle K. Now, my girlfriend can't get enough of these tacos. We find ourselves there almost every weekend.
