Ever since moving to Napa, Taj has been our go to spot for going out to dinner. The food is always excellent and the staff are always a pleasure. Great service. The food is always cooked fresh to order, so maybe order ahead if you're in a hurry. Thanks Taj!

I recommend this place for good Indian food (northern Indian— Punjabi style) if you are in the Napa area. Good service, ambience and delicious food.
We (2) tried their Chicken Tandoori (bone-in), Taj Special Mutton curry, Tandoori Roti and Naan. Portions were generous, so we boxed some Tandoori Chicken and some curry.
You should instruct them about the level of spiciness that you want in your curry or the Tandoori dishes.
We requested ‘juicy inside’ Tandoori Chicken, and they didn’t disappoint. They served three whole leg pieces, perfectly charred from outside but moist meat near the bone.

Good food in the Napa region

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. First of all, the naan was way too expensive — $5 for just one naan! I’ve eaten at many Indian and Pakistani restaurants, and I’ve never seen such high prices for something so basic. On top of that, the service was very slow. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for our food, which made the experience even worse. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The prices don’t match the quality or service.

Save your money. There are far better places to eat that won’t drain your wallet for mediocre food and poor service.

.I paid for everything I ordered and didn’t ask for anything to be free. I shared my honest opinion, just like any customer is entitled to. I hope you take feedback more constructively in the future instead of attacking your guests.

Best of luck to you as well.

Delicious! Highly recommend. My taste buds and tummy are so happy. The host was funny and very kind.
First time having a mango lassi, I will def be back for that and more.

After a long, busy day, we decided the best way to treat ourselves was with some great food. We spotted this Indian restaurant across the street, and since we’re both big fans of Indian cuisine, we decided to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did!

We ordered the Tandoori Chicken (bone-in), Chicken Tikka Masala, and Butter Paratha. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as impressive. They also have a bar, which adds a fun vibe to the place. If you’re in Napa and craving Indian food, definitely check this spot out!

Great Indian food close to downtown Napa. I recommend the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. The naan is also very good. Decent sized portions too.
