I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. First of all, the naan was way too expensive — $5 for just one naan! I’ve eaten at many Indian and Pakistani restaurants, and I’ve never seen such high prices for something so basic. On top of that, the service was very slow. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for our food, which made the experience even worse. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The prices don’t match the quality or service.

After a long, busy day, we decided the best way to treat ourselves was with some great food. We spotted this Indian restaurant across the street, and since we’re both big fans of Indian cuisine, we decided to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did!
We ordered the Tandoori Chicken (bone-in), Chicken Tikka Masala, and Butter Paratha. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as impressive. They also have a bar, which adds a fun vibe to the place. If you’re in Napa and craving Indian food, definitely check this spot out!

Absolutely loved our experience at Taj Grill in Napa! The food had authentic Indian flavors with the perfect balance of spices — flavorful, not just fiery. The Chana Masala was a standout, far better than what we've had in the Bay Area, where it's often just a red chili-heavy gravy. The chef here clearly understands that spice should enhance taste, not overpower it.
We visited on a weekday, and while the place was quiet, the service was excellent — warm, attentive, and our food arrived within 10 minutes. Special mention to the person at the front desk who welcomed us with a smile and took time to chat — made the experience even better.
Will definitely be back when we're in Napa again!

Finger licking tasty, freshly cooked food. I was amazed to find such good Indian food in Napa valley. Each and every dish we ordered was flavorful and best that spices were cooked properly unlike other places. We ordered biryani, chana masala, dal tadka, naan and peas pulao and nothing to complain of. Returned again for the next meal too. Highly recommend and must try for authentic Indian quality food. Service is fast and ambience is great. Hope the quality is maintained.

Today me and my friend visited taj grill indian cuisine and ordered a samosa chaat, aloo tikki chaat and murghi naan..I was so embarrassed with the server it was really a disgusting experience..The food came was late and after we were to order some beer..and when i asked the server for the beer he responded that the restaurant is going to close in a harsh way rather there were customers who were placing to go orders in the counter..I felt like he wanted us to go soon out of the restaurant..the server doesn't have the basic knowledge about how to serve the guests..I really felt insulted in front of my friend sry to say this but the service standards are on the lower side.
