I was out for lunch with my pal'et Theresa la Bomba and she wanted to have enchilada de pollo from the Taqueria La Jerezana Truck, and I said we should go to a restaurant. Theresa said No! Taqueria La Jerezana makes the best, we'll go there. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
LJ has a taco truck, recently relocated about 3 blocks south of Salvadore on the Byway E, parallel to Hwy 29. If you want great Mexican food, fast, at a low price, you should visit. All the local construction workers come here for lunch :-) b/c value+taste! My go to is the Carnitas Burrito Supreme, an $8 slice of heaven.

Great service. Food had great flavor. Big portions and reasonably priced.

de 10 su trato con la gente y un excelente sazon
Service is TERRIBLE. Ordered an enchilada plate. Just simply a shredded beef enchilada plate. I was given plain shredded chicken with tortillas on the side - no enchilada sauce - like a deconstructed enchilada??!!. When I pointed out to the cashier that this is not what I ordered she said "don't argue with me ma'm you will have to pay more if you want another plate." I tried to explain to her that I ordered just a regular enchilada plate and I had not asked for anything different, just regular, and then she said "don't fight with me ma'am. So, ultimately, I made the worlds most simple order but did not get what I wanted at all, and I was made to feel like I did something wrong - when all I did was order the shredded beef enchilada plate. A waste of time and money - now I am home eating popcorn because who wants to eat plain corn tortilla's with plain shredded chicken when you order the enchilada plate?
My husband and I are just traveling around the area for a few days. We were on our way back to San Francisco from Napa and thought we would try a Mexican Restaurant for lunch. We googled "best Mexican Food in Napa" and this restaurant came up. For the life of me, I don't know why it is #17 on your TripAdvisor list for Mexican food, it should be #1. You can sit outside or inside. We sat outside at one of the tables and it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. We were there around 12:00 pm on a Thursday. No real hustle-bustle for "dining at the restaurant" since many folks ordered take out. Menu has a wide variety of Mexican fare favorites: tacos, burritos, nachos, enchiladas, quesadilla and so on and so forth. I had the soft tacos with chicken and my husband had the Nachos. It was wonderful. The soft tacos were "just that" soft, cooked just right and the chicken was seasoned perfectly (not too spicy but a nice balance between spicy and regular seasoning). I loved the pickled jalapeno peppers that came with the soft taco order along with shredded lettuce and cheese. My husband ordered Nachos with all the trimmings: steak, beans, guac, sour cream, refried beans, and cheese. It was "Da Bomb". Naturally, I was reaching over into my husband's plate and eating so I had both meals - so good. So, if you looking for a "fancy-pants" restaurant this won't be the place for you. But, if you're looking for good, home-cooked food, in a nice friendly atmosphere, this is the place. Food was so good that we got take out to eat later in our San Francisco hotel. Don't miss this place if you are looking for a good lunch.
Fabulous breakfast! Generous portions and heavenly flavors. Friendly, mom-and-pop atmosphere with both English and Spanish conversations all around. My husband’s comment was, “This food is scary good!” I don’t know how we haven’t heard about Jefferson Cafe before, but we will definitely go back!
Middle-aged cash register gave me attitude because i interrupted whatever she was doing on her phone. I was the only customer. The overpriced burrito that was 60% rice was gross. Al pastor tastes like birria. This is low tier Mexican food in the Napa Valley. Seriously save you money and go somewhere else.
My boyfriend got a variety of tacos, and I ordered the chile verde plate. Everything we had was delicious; well-cooked and perfectly seasoned/nice amount of spice. The employees were friendly, and our food was ready quickly. We decided to go because it was within walking distance of where we were staying and saw good reviews, and we are so happy we did. Will definitely go again when we (hopefully) visit Napa in the future.

The carne asada burrito was the best ever. My friend enjoyed the hard shelled tacos with the spicy pork. What a great find. Quick, yummy and priced fairly.
amazing tacos. good service competitive prices. one of Napa's best tacos. you definitely must eat here.
Fast and fresh this Mexi-Cali diner has something for everyone. Burritos are huge, authentic corn chips, everything we tried was great, except the soda machine was not working properly and there is no house made iced tea. We'll definitely go back.
I know it's very cliche to come to a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo, but I was craving some good Mexican food. Tannya's didn't disappoint. This small mom & pop shop is lovely. This is definitely a local spot, and well off the beaten tourist track. Came in and stepped up to the little window to order. The gal behind window was very friendly and very helpful with providing suggestions. We ordered the Fish Tacos, and the Carnitas burrito. We decided to eat-in so we took a table (but it looks like there is a very thriving take-away business). Within a couple of minutes our food was on the table. The fish tacos were very hot (clearly fresh off the grill). The burrito was also nice and hot as well. The burrito had refried beans, which weren't my fave, but the carnitas was... so good ! The fish in the tacos was light and very fresh, and cooked perfectly. Overall: if you want something that is authentic, served hot and fresh, then Tannya's is a great option. The decor is very low key, and nothing overly splashy. The server was friendly and very helpful. I like this place and would definitely go back.
We found this restaurant while walking in the City of Napa and could tell by the name that it was a Mexican place. We placed our orders at the window, paid, and took seats in the attached dining area. My wife ordered two Tacos Pastor and I ordered a shredded beef quesadilla. Both meals were outstanding and we told ourselves that we'd return soon. Sure enough, a few days later we returned. This time my wife had fish tacos and I had beef tacos. We highly recommend this establishment.
