This is a really good restaurant. The food is amazing and good wines. Sometimes the service will take a little bit long to remove used plates from the table. This becomes an issue when seated at the two person table.

Good spot for dinner. We shared the eggplant, lamb shank, and chicken kebab. The lamb shank was very good buttery and tender. The chicken kebab was nothing special, just average. The eggplant dish was excellent. They also have a good kids’ menu with pizza and fries. Complimentary pita and olive paste are offered as well. The price point was a bit on the higher side, but the portions were very large.
We came without reservation.

At Tarla, you never quite know what to expect. Some visits are great, while others fall short. Unfortunately, yesterday was one of the off days. My zucchini fritters were served cold, and the table service was disorganized—plates weren't cleared in a timely manner, and we weren't given cutlery for the main course. It seemed like there were a lot of new staff members, and the lack of coordination showed. That said, the chef was as attentive and kind as ever, and graciously offered us a complimentary dessert to make up for the experience. While I appreciate that gesture, the overall inconsistency in service is disappointing. Your experience at Tarla really depends on who's serving you—and it shouldn't be that way.

Tarla restaurant is amazing! Staff is super nice, always filling our water cups and asking is we’re doing fine.. food is delicious, I love Mediterranean food and this is one of the best I’ve tried. Loved the falafel kebab and dip trio!

Fantastic food! I am not a very adventurous eater and Tarla gave me the option to stick with my boundaries or go outside of my regular ballpark. I got the chicken kebab lavash wrap. It was absolutely to die for; the sauces that accompanied it were delicious and the potatoes were too perfection. Best margarita I've ever had as well. Would recommend to anyone asking! Very good pricing as well.

Had the dip trio as an appetizer and it was the best baba ghanoush we've ever had. For dinner we got the risotto and lamb kebab. Both were fantastic. We got baklava for dessert and in our opinion it was the perfect size. 3 small pieces with vanilla gelato; just enough to have a few bites of something sweet at the end of a big meal. If you love Mediterranean food, go! You won't regret it!

Seemed very disorganized at check in. Hostess gave last table to couple ahead of us at check who didn't have a reservation. Had to wait 30 minutes for our reserved outdoor table. No service recovery. Too noisy inside. Food was excellent and our server was great.

Incredible dinner! We started with the Greek Dip Trio (aka mezze platter); Tasty, but I thought a little sparse on the portions of the hummus, baba ghanoush and tzatziki. The entrees though were incredible! I had the moussaka, and my mouth is watering as I think about it! A healthy serving so full of flavors and the right balance of spices. My partner had the short rib over truffle risotto with crispy kale. Let me say that the risotto is as good as any I have ever eaten! And the sauce reduction coupled with the short rib = incredible! The kale was the perfect compliment. We finished with the mascarpone-stuffed apricots with a apricot sorbet. We will be back!

Our party of 4 had a great experience. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was pleased. Our vegetarian had souvlaki, I had the roasted chicken, our wives had a Greek salad and the chicken kabob. We started with the Greek dip trio. All were served hot and on time. Presented nicely and very tasty. The restaurant is small and was packed while we were there. Packed means just a wee bit noisy. They do have a full bar and choices of wine (of course we are in Napa) and beer. The only drawback at all is Napa in the evening, in season is a busy place and I would suggest reserving early to get a parking space.
