Usually a pleasure eating at Tarla. Portions are smaller now, and the cost is higher. Skimping on the Octopus salad. We weren't given a free appetizer card for our next visit. That was disappointing considering our bill $$$

My friends and I loved having a brunch at Tarla. The service was terrific and the food was so delicious and such generous servings. The dining rooms were so beautifully decorated. We will be back again.

Incredible food and service, always top notch!!
We were seated outside on Saturday November 1st beside a table of four drunk people who were behaving terribly. Screaming at each other and cussing with families seated beside us. We complained multiple times, the poor manager John had his hands full. We were moved to another table as we could not take it anymore. The manager was incredibly kind and apologetic. Santiago was very kind and gracious, we felt so sorry for these two men. I grew up in restaurant industry, my parents owning a top restaurant in San Francisco. In my lifetime have I ever experienced such terrible behavior from four guests dining in a restaurant. The argument continued, as the drunk woman took the manager beside our new table saying the manager was racist? How is he being racist? The woman proceeded to say she was Jewish. This entitled woman made herself look like a fool. My heart breaks for these two hardworking men, John & Santiago. No employee should ever endure such abuse and torment from four drunk buffoons. We dine here regularly. Love this restaurant. My apologies to the staff of Tarla. Hope you never have to experience that behavior ever again.

Excellent Halloumi Saganaki flaming cheese at this restaurant! Beautiful decor in main dining room and bathroom. Wonderful chairs. Likely authentic background music. Turkish coffee is available.

I had lunch here with my husband a couple of months ago, and really enjoyed it. So when I came back to town for a conference I decided to try the dinner menu. It did not disappoint, the branzino with fall couscous flavors was so delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Incredibly disappointed by the food. The dolma tasted like it came from a can. My wife asked for her meal without mushrooms and it came with mushrooms. The server said that was the third time it happened that night. My lamb kebabs were tough, and the vegetables were bland and underseasoned. Dessert was mildly redeeming, and our waiter was incredibly nice which helped a little. Definitely would not go back nor recommend this place to anyone. For a $200 dinner (no alcohol mind you), I had much higher expectations!
