Having lived in Montreal for many years I can appreciate - and miss - Montreal-style bagels, which are the best! Toasted does an amazing job making those. Coupled with their great toppings and amazing service makes it a very regular destination.Our favorites: Sesame, Plain, Cinnamon-Raisin, Egg

A bagel from Toasted is akin to a loaf from Tartine. It resets the bar of what a common item can be when an artisan goes deep do n the rabbit hole and applies an almost obsessive devotion to the craft. It’s impossible to have another bagel and not compare it it Toasted. The snap, chew, and ferment are zeroed in and unmatched. THE bagel!!!

As a vegan, it can be very hard to find great food options at a fair price. Most establishments charge me for the egg, even though I take it off. Then, they charge me to ADD avocado! It can be frustrating that my orders usually cost $4-5 dollars MORE to modify, when I took off all the expensive items.
