I was wondering what a $49 dollar grilled cheese would taste like and while I don't plan on ordering again due to the price, it was absolutely awesome and I'm glad we ordered it. Now the main courses were exceptional. I had the CONCHIGLIE, pork shank sugo, black garlic, castelvetrano olive, pecorino romano and my wife had the exquisitely decadent lumache. This is elevated cuisine and the service was just as elevated. We live in Healdsburg area and we must say that over the past few years, Napa has really improved it's dining options, so we're willing to make the drive.

We were really excited to dine at TORC and while the food was excellent, the service and overall dining experience fell short for a restaurant at this caliber. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was a great start, but unfortunately that was the last of the timely service. It took about 15 minutes before our waiter approached our table for the first time. When he finally explained the prix fixe menu, he spoke so quickly that we could barely understand what he was saying, which made the experience feel rushed and a bit impersonal. That said, the food itself was outstanding and easily the highlight of the night. The dining room, however, was extremely loud and the tables are placed very close together. At one point, a server speaking to the neighboring table was practically right in our space. I would strongly recommend avoiding the tables with bench seating, as it felt especially cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, it is a toss-up whether we would return. The food was truly excellent, but the service and atmosphere did not match what we expected from a higher-end Napa restaurant.

Overpriced for what it is. Portions stingy and flavors all mixed and off for the dishes. No service at all. Was never asked how everything is. Very disappointing experience overall. And is no comparison to all other Napa restaurants in same price range or those that are in the lower price range.

Second time dining here. The first time was several months ago and the food was amazing. This time it was not as good. Brought some friends here and they were also a little disappointed as well. Scallops were not cooked quite right. Risotto was very average. Server was great. Just wish the food had been better.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Great cocktails and amazing wine and spirits list. The most refreshing thing about Torc is the food tastes elevated but the atmosphere is unpretentious. We will be back the next time we visit Napa.

Fresh local seasonal food...recommend the Squab and anything with wild mushrooms! And yes they are really wild mushrooms:) Efficient friendly service and a very comprehensive wine list.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were filled with a comforting warmth that resulted in a 5 star dining experience. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. From the way the food was presented to our table and the way the plates were cleared and refreshed, no detail was missed. Each plate was beautiful and the flavors were all unique and balanced. It was fun to try all the different components in each dish and a delight to create the perfect bite. The deviled eggs, Shungiku, and hamachi tartare were standouts. For dessert both were special but the pana cotta was divine. Our server made a perfect wine pairing suggestion. The cocktails were inventive and we wanted more. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting napa and will be back ourselves.
