The absolute best winery visit we had during a week in the valley. It's not the flashy Disney-esque experience you find at the multi-million-dollar tasting rooms. It's not the hired help leading you through their scripted spiel & trying to sell you something. What Tulocay is is the most engaging, personal, interesting, hilarious, and memorable 90 minutes a person can have tasting wine with the person who made it - and who has been making it for decades. All the history, stories & experiences that Bill shared were the "perfect pairing" for the wines being served. Great wines too, that you'll want to buy & take home.

My husband and I recently visited Bill at Tulocay Winery and had the most amazing heartwarming experience. It was a very laid-back vibe which we both appreciated. Bill kept us entertained for several hours and had us laughing throughout. But what can I say about the wine, well, we sampled 4 of the wines, all of which were superb!! Unpretentious and knowledgable Bill told us the story of how Tulocay Winery started and made us feel very comfortable throughout. We would certainly recommend this wine tasting experience to anyone, and once you try the wine you won’t be sorry! A magical day.
