Great food-shaking beef and cellophane noodles were delicious! Service and waitstaff exceptional kind and thoughtful. Gave us great recommendations for going out afterwards. Ended up sitting outside as it was cool and shaded.

This was a excellent Vietnamese food dinner, fresh and flavorful. We had a group of four and enjoyed sharing a variety of tasty plates. The menu is diverse enough that there is something for everyone and a refreshing alternative to the very good chop houses and Italian restaurants in the area. Special props to the bartender who personally helped me select several high quality single barrel bourbons to enjoy with my meal, as well as cocktails for my guests.

Slanted Door never ceases to amaze. I miss the Ferry Building location as I get to travel to SF often from the east coast, so when I saw there was a location in Napa I planned my trip to eat there twice. As a solo traveler it's impossible to enjoy all the tastiness in one meal. I sat at the bar where Zack took great care of everyone with competence and friendliness. Cocktails were perfect. I had the ginger limeade one day and a bees knees the next. All the favorites are on the menu, Hamachi Crudo, Shaking Beef and the cabbage/grapefruit salad. I returned the next day to enjoy the crispy imperial rolls. Everything was delicious! There is ample parking in back and a delightful courtyard should you want to eat alfresco. Chef Choi stopped by and chatted with me both visits (what a bonus as I like cooking and have tried my hand at several recipes out of the Slanted Door cookbook). This is one of my favorite restaurants in the country and one I make a point of visiting whenever I'm in town. You should too!

Amazing Chef Nick... and staff. Great food and options for all... vegetable spring rolls and lemongrass tofu! Staff were attentive and kind. Atmosphere is sleek and modern - great Napa experience! Thanks Nick!

Beautiful tree canopied patio, lovely indoor spaces, too. Vegetarian and vegan options. Attentive service. Food was delicious and different that what i've had in other Vietnamese restaurants.

I grew up in SF and enjoyed the original Slanted Door in the Mission district many times . I also liked the food at the Ferry Building Slanted Door and Out The Door on California Street /Fillmore . This was my first time at the Napa restaurant with a friend for our birthdays . She had been there before and had not liked her meal but wanted to try it again. I did not like a single thing we ordered . The food was tasteless , the dough around the dumplings was thick , opaque and very disappointing . It is usually translucent , thin and delicate . The chicken /cabbage salad was without any taste at all . The champagne was 27 dollars per glass and I get great bottles from France for a little over 30 dollars . We were charged 9 dollars to have a little red pepper oil and sriracha. We needed the hot sauce to give our tasteless food some appeal. Then we had some fresh vegetarian spring rolls which we didn't finish due to how tasteless they were . I will never come back and I hope when you reopen in SF that your former chefs will be taking over in the kitchen .

We had a lovely meal. There were 4 of us and everyone agreed that their meal was perfect. Delicious in every way. I had the shaking beef, which I always get. Two of our party had the cellophane noodles with seafood - and they loved it. I don't remember the last dish, but it was enjoyed. We all agreed that we would certainly be back. Happy dining.

My guest and I dined on the outdoor patio. The weather was warm but not hot, so the patio, which has lots of shade, was terrific. The food was terrific, and the service was attentive, but not intrusive.

WE were at SD for the first time and were positively surprised about the restaurant, we were sitting outside and it was (not yet) too cold. Very good service and all 4 at the table liked the food.

The service was worse ever experienced at slanted door We arrived on time for our seating The wait staff was unfriendly and unhelpful even though many tables empty I love this place and never had such poor service We were greeted by surly front staff

Our cocktails were the highlight of our evening. We have been to the Slanted Door at the Ferry Building and this location pales. My suggestion would to attend their Happy Hour, but skip dinner.

I'm familiar with their food from when they were in Ferry Bldg in San Francisco. Just the same they never disappoint. Everything from appetizers to dessert including the wine we had were so great. We were seated by the patio and they made sure it's still shaded enough for us. We will come back for sure to bring our children. Highly recommended.

Lovely food. Scene was too much. Really took away from the experience. But there was some software glitch that made the waitstaff crazy. Just remember simpler experience from Valencia Street. Even later at the Ferry Bldg. Ah, well.

Such a disappointing dinner! We had been to the Slanted Door Ferry Building several times “back in the day”. We expected to have a really nice meal at the Slanted Door Napa. How wrong we were! The restaurant needs acoustic panels to absorb the sound in the restaurant. It's so loud you have to yell across the table! The food was just average. No creativity. Flavors were just “ok”. No “stand out” flavors or dishes. As for service... they had one server attending to almost ALL the tables in the dining room. That being said... the service was slow, clumsy, and not very attentive. Unfortunately...we were so underwhelmed. We will not coming back.

Slanted Door Napa is another perfect restaurant from Charles Phan. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Great ambience, fabulous service. I was very happy with my dinner and the overall experience!
