Vintner's Collective is one of the oldest and best tasting rooms in downtown Napa along with Alpha Omega's tasting room. This establishment serves up a collection of tastings from smaller vineyards in the Napa / Sonoma Valley area. I walked out with a couple of amazing bottles of Cabernet!

I had the pleasure to work with the Vintner's Collective team to book a private event for 9 people, in the converted brothel upstairs--obsessed with the background on the Madam, as well as the beautiful space! Lessly was fantastic in getting everything set up over email, and with all the flexibility I needed due to the unknowns around our travel (Air Canada strike, potential border issues). When we got there, we were greeted by the bartenders--who were all so kind!-- and met our host for the evening, Kurtis. We had a fantastic hour plus with Kurtis and were given many options of wine to taste from VC's insanely good collection. The tastings were customized to each guest, which was very thoughtful.
The best part? After leaving and promising to come back to pick up some wine before we headed back to Toronto, we returned 2 days later and not only were we warmly greeted, but Kurtis remembered all the particular wine we tried and liked. We had a few additional (complimentary) tastings & bought 5(?) bottles of wine to take back home. Tried to travel in a carry on, but ended up checking bags to take home some Patel cab sauv, and my personal fav Hertelendy 2018 Signature Mountain Blend.

You found it! In a city of 400 wineries the collection here is unmatched, but that’s not what makes it better than the rest. A journey is only as good as your guide and Kurtis is as knowledgeable as he is fun. He’s happy to walk you through the levels of Chardonnay, from high class to “suburban slutty.” Welcoming to all levels of wine tasters and walk ins, they will learn your interests and share some of the most unique wines from the region. Elegant, laid back, friendly, and a necessary stop for anyone in the area.

My husband and I have never felt so well cared for at a tasting thanks to Marie, who guided us along according to our tastes and was spot-on in helping us find our favorites. Delicious quality wines at a fair price point. Absolutely a highlight of our trip to Sonoma/Napa. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

This is a great venue to do a small vineyard wine tasting. The owners and staff are supper friendly and accommodating. They adjust the tasting to your wine palate. We really enjoyed the tasting. Our palate is dry red and they did not disappoint. Lots of great wines!

Amazing tasting! It was actually much harder than expected to find a multi-vinery tasting room - where the tasting would be adapted to our taste and interests - thank god we found this wonderful place! Our host Curtis was so great and extremely knowledgeable! This place a is real gem in Napa! (great value for money too!!)

Such a laid back, cool environment along with the exceptional staff (Thank you to Marie, Mike and Kurtis) whom made this an experience we won't soon forget! The depth of wine choices are extraordinary. We wanted a place where we could try small production wines that we would not find at home on the East Coast...score on this! You can really personalize your experience here and I highly recommend stopping in when you are in downtown Napa for lunch or before dinner. You won't be disappointed and you never know whom you might meet while there. We were fortunate to meet a local vineyard owner and an author, both of whom had extensive wine knowledge which they shared with us! Will definitely return on our next visit to Napa :)
