Amazing vineyard with a history to match. Henry and the family were extremely kind and welcoming. Easily our favorite winery!
My family and I had such a fabulous experience at White Rock celebrating my mom's 60th birthday. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a family-run vineyard with a unique history. Highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality White Rock Vineyards. We hope to be back again soon.
I had family in for Christmas and my adult daughter suggested we go for lunch and wine tasting to celebrate my birthday. I had never been to White Rock previously, but, was excited to visit. It was, without question, the best wine tasting experience I have ever had! Our host Matthew was fantastic and gave us an incredible tour of the wine caves and vineyards while tasting several incredible wines. My daughter commented that we should have skipped everything else and just went to White Rock and I agree. Private tasting, no crowds, family owned and friendly people adds up to a perfect experience. I'm joining the club so I have lots of excuses to go back!
This was the last winery we visited on our trip, and I am happy it was, because otherwise everything else would have been disappointing. Not only was the setting and story here incredibly interesting, the tour was really educational. And on top of that, the wine was absolutely wonderful.I think their Chardonnay is one of my favorite wines I’ve ever tasted, and I usually don’t care for Chardonnay at all. But this one is really special, really balanced. We left with a bottle and joined the wine club.I hope you get to visit and chat with Henri. We are so happy that we got to.
Awesome wine experience!
Recent visit to Napa we booked a tour with Platypus Tours. The first of 3 stops on our tour was White Rock Winery. The winery is very small. Our host – David – was exceptional. He is experienced and knowledgeable about the vineyard and the wine making process. He took time to answer all of our questions regarding the wine and the geographical area. We visited inside the caves, and watched some of the staff removing wine from the oak barrels to be able to removed sediment. They explained the process which is a fascinating lesson in chemistry and wine making. We tasted several of the wines and purchased several bottles to be shipped home.I would suggest White Rock as a must visit on a trip to the Napa wine country.
My wife and I were privileged to have a private wine tasting from our family members as part of our second wedding anniversary. These family members have frequently visited this winery and are members of the wine club from the winery. Matthew was our host from the winery and is so knowledgeable regarding the wine industry plus the amazing wines that White Rock Winery produces that we were astonished by the amazing quality of the wines, that we talked a whole week about how great the wine and the White Rock Winery company is. Words cannot express how excited we were to spend our time with Matthew discussing the different wines they produce, how the process is more complex than others and the finished products are spectacular. If you have an opportunity to visit White Rock Winery you will not be disappointed and they truly are amazing wine makers. We will definitely visit again to see what new wines they develop. We were so impressed that we joined there wine club and will continue to buy these amazing wines for many years to come. Thank you very much Matthew, you made our experience so special and enjoyable we are very big fans of you and White Rock Winery.
Incredible small production family vineyard with amazing old world style wines! The laureate, cave hill and claret reds are my favorite. Some of the friendliest staff around and awesome wine club! Thanks white rock!! You rock!!
Our friend who is a wine club member here recommended we give White Rock a try. Just driving up the grounds were so beautiful and we were wowed by the cave and how they stack and store the bottles of wine. We had a great experience. Love the wine and warm hospitality ??. The background story about the history is fascinating. We really appreciate family owned and operated wineries. Bought some bottles and definitely plan to come back. Can’t wait to see their new tasting room someday.
Two friends and I visited White Rock yesterday, and my only regret is I may never be able to enjoy another winery as much after our morning with Matthew and his incredible hospitality. The tasting was private— just the three of us, which set the experience apart right from the start as we tasted, toured, and tasted some more at a picnic table in the middle of the vineyard. Matthew is newer to the family-owned vineyard, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about its history and its wine. I am far from a wine connoisseur, but he gave us such specific yet approachable details in response to all of our questions, especially about the fires that came through a few years ago. Even the sell at the end to join the wine club was friendly, and if I didn’t live in Chicago, I would’ve immediately signed up just for the experiences Matthew plans to add for wine club members.Book your tasting now, and make sure its your first of the day so you can best enjoy the wine and the experience.

Best tour and best wine I have had. We had the owner give us our personal touch and tour.
One of our favorite vineyards to visit this trip! The history here is fantastic and Jill was so much fun. The wine is superb, we will definitely be back!
My wife have been buying White Rock wines for about 32 years and our most recent trip, 10/14/21, we met with Henri and enjoyed our wine and conversation. The Claret is still excellent and is not generally part of the club shipment, therefore, we bought a case.
This was one of the best tasting experiences in Napa. We had the pleasure of having Henri -- the owner of the vineyard -- give us a thorough and engaging tour of the property. This was followed by an excellent wine tasting experience of their latest releases. Highly recommend.
