ZD was my favorite experience on my recent trip to Napa. The views from the tasting room are idyllic, the wine is phenomenal, and the service is first class. Our host Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the history of the winery, their wine making process, as well as the various labels they offer. Sam made everyone in my group feel right at home and was able to cater to each persons level of wine knowledge from introductory to expert.

Sam was such an incredible guide! We are glad this was our last winery tour over four days. If this had come earlier in our trip, it may have made some of the others a little more disappointing. Don’t miss ZD Wines on your Napa trip, but my tip is to put it at or near the back end of your trip.

We were introduced to ZD Wines about 10 years ago . One of the few wineries that excel with every varietal they produce. We had the good fortune of visiting their tasting room on the 4th of July. Samantha did an amazing job hosting us. The views were amazing and the wines even beter. The only wine club we joined during our few days there due to its simplicity. When I think of what makes Napa special, ZD and the family behind it immediately come to mind. Their commitment to sustainable practices and the ensuing quality is exemplary. You can't go wrong visiting here and buying their wines!

Wow. We cycled out from Napa and it was so worth it. Amazing views from the tasting room veranda, and Richard, our host, was the loveliest guide, filling us in on the history of the vineyard, and guiding us through the excellent tasting flight. Absolutely a gem of an experience.

We took our first anniversary trip to Napa and ZD was our last stop. We could not have asked for a better ending to our first trip to the valley. The views were great and the wine was even better. Stephanie was an excellent host and was very knowledgeable. We would definitely visit again!

We had such a nice visit to ZD a couple years ago we made it a priority to visit again on our most recent trip. Our Host was Samantha!! Loved her!! She has been our Host on both occasions. So pleasant, so professional and her knowledge of the winery and wines was a treat! We have been to dozens of vineyards through the years although have only made return visits to a few.
