Came back like I said I would and it still doesn't disappoint. Such a lovely spot to have a nice bite that's full of flavor. I love the flat iron steak so much. The chimichurri sauce is amazing! There use to be a menu that had that told you what drink pairs the best with which dish but it seems to be gone. I wish that was still available but it's ok, I'll still be back!

What a great recommendation from our sommelier after wine tasting! We wanted something that was shareable and tapas is best for that. Our waiter was personable and attentive. The ambiance was relaxed. Everything we ate was devoured! Every dish had their unique flavor and everything came out fresh and hot. The steak was cooked to perfection and the shrimp wasn't overcooked. The cod was a mixture like dip which we weren't expecting. The tres leches cake was light and so addicting. The apple empanada was warm with a crunchy outside. I only wish they offered ice cream with it. I'd definitely come here again. If their tapas was this good, I can't even imagine how yummy their entrees will be.

I was just here with my family on the 31st of March to celebrate my sister's 34th birthday (party of 5, including myself) and I'll break it down for you all. Food is good, but the portions ain't worth it at all. Prices come between $10-$20 for the tapas dishes and between $35-$40 for the paellas. Of course, it was a tapas (small plates) restaurant, so my family and I had to split up the food just so we could all have a share of the dishes and not have to worry about getting a second round of them. I was dying to try their roasted spaghetti squash after seeing fellow reviews and pics on Yelp, but our waiter, whose name we didn't get and didn't even bother to introduce himself, said they ran out and recommended their grilled asparagus. but not long after, even more bad news was that they ran out of that too and also didn't have lobster paella. Ok, so you're just going to try to recommend grilled asparagus and tell us that they ran out as well just shortly after trying to order that? Why didn't you just say you didn't have any more when we were ordering in the first place? He should have told us what items were out before placing the order so that way my family and I knew. A negative was pity the paella takes 30 minutes to ensure the rice gets thoroughly cooked, but we had plans to visit other places in the Napa area. A plus for the paella was that was the main dish that was able to fill me and my family up. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it at all. Out of 5 stars, I wish I can rate it 0 stars, but I'll put one star because the only food items that filled me and my family up were the Zuzu paella and the vegetarian paella: -1 for the small portions -1 for the prices -1 for the place being not as loud as other restaurants; there was another family party, some solo customers -1 for not being told of which items were out before we ordered

Zuzu is a great find It has a great variety of tapas. The chef provides great quality and a good amount of food. They also have paella dishes that we didn't try. Today we started with spicy savory roasted almonds instead of more traditional sweet almonds. The beet salad with goat cheese and other delicacies was exceptional. The chef did a nice job seasoning the items to enhance the flavors. Today they had grilled asparagus with shaved cheese and garlic. Wow. The restraint has a causal atmosphere with nice wood tables and decorations. We strongly recommend you give ZuZus a try.

We came here on a Friday afternoon for a light lunch. We didn't have reservations but were seated instantly. Our waiter was great, personable, and attentive. We ordered the lamb chops and flat-iron steak tapas. The lamb chops were definitely a star. If we had more time at the restaurant I probably would've ordered these again immediately. So tasty and flavorful. The waiter said these two menu items are usually prepared on the rare side, however, they were cooked through more than I thought they'd be. The flat-iron steak was cooked perfectly for medium and was seasoned well with the herbs and garlic. It was tender and delicious. As far as the ambiance, I loved the music playing over the speakers. It wasn't too loud and we were still able to comfortably converse.

Absolutely tasty! Every time I go to ZuZu's I have such a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, the service is informative and quick. The ambiance is beautiful and romantic. Can't recommend this place enough!

Excellent! Service was wonderful, tapas menu was delicious, I think we tried half the menu!

Underwhelmed. While the premise is great, the location fantastic, and the ambiance and service are welcoming, the food and drinks underwhelmed. We chose the place based on reviews but were sorely left wanting. We ordered a glass of tempranillo and their gin & tonic of the month. The tempranillo tasted like it had been open for a LONG time and the gin & tonic was so full of ice and water, I could barely taste the gin or tonic. It was beautifully presented but tasted of water and not much else. For food, we started with the trout tartare. Beautifully plated, it was the best dish of the night. Next we moved on to the tortillas espanola, the gambas al ajillo, and the chicken croquetas. The torillas espanola lacked flavor overall and were bland. The gambas were head on shrimp - a huge plus - but the broth lacked flavor. It tasted more of water and lacked garlic and chili flavors. The broth was so thin, it was rather embarrassing when trying to sop it up with the provided bread. The chicken croquetas actually were flavorful, but seemed to be bland at the same time. Overall, we were sad to be dining there and wished we had gone somewhere else.

Sweet little restaurant with the most delicious food. We ordered octopus, ceviche, and bacalao tapas, and then half way through, the Argentina empanada. We are Spainophiles (not a word, but it should be), so a little snooty about Spanish restaurants, but the flavors were very authentic. Wanted to dine here on our last visit, but it was for dinner and there weren't any tables available.

Small plate, the shrimp is not fresh at all, and the service is also bad, they even do not ask us to refill water.

One of my first ever reviews. It was so wonderful to dine here. The service was top notch and so were the dishes. Try the Gambas and the steak. You won’t regret it. A Must try!!

We visited this place for a light meal during our weekend in Napa. The skirt steak, almonds, and olives were standouts. The service was great! And if you want a G&T in Napa, this is the place. They have a great selection of gins and tonics to mix and match. It's a fun place for drinks and tapas.

Ambiance was wonderful and service was nothing short of Napa excellence. Came in with a party of 16!! And they treated us so well and kept the food coming and drinks coming. We had such a good time. My party did not speak highly of the paella or the steak but loved the cocktails and the ceviche. I wish they had a happy hour!

I ordered Mussels and was pleased with the presentation and the sweet crouton and sauce. As good as it looked the mussels were puny small. Not dried up but just small. I regularly get frozen mussels at my grocery store that are 3 times larger. Disappointed. The atmosphere was spartan and harsh on my hearing aids. The seating is very puritan like chairs. The gin and tonic special was a glass of ice with little flavor. My wife had the sandab fish and was satisfied but did not get her preferred chardanay.
