Crab Fever - San Diego

My son and I decided to stop by Crab Fever before heading to an event at Petco Park. We ordered a pound of shrimp - head on and a pound of snow crab, cajun, mild, which came out to $81.56. OUTRAGEOUS!!! The shrimp tasted like it was old and had not been washed thoroughly. The sauce was runny and to top it off, it was completely bland!!! We were so disappointed that after 15 minutes of receiving our food, we asked for the check and left. We couldn't even convince ourselves to finish our order. Honestly, we were better off going to Seafood City next door and asking one of the uncles to fry up some shrimp. Service was good, but food was horrible!!! NEVER GOING BACK THERE!!!

First time eating at a restaurant like this and it met the match . Food was excellent we had the Ultimate Combo and it fed 3 people. Service with Aaron was great as well he was excellent we had a table of 6 and took care of us very well. Its seafood so don’t worry about price it is worth the cost.

Oh. My. Lawd. 🤯 Our visit to Crab Fever was nothing short of phenomenal! We went all in with the Combo 2.5, Combo 1, a slider meal, and fried shrimp — and of course, we added eggs to both combos. The sauce? The legendary Fever Mix. Every bite was pure, flavor-packed bliss!

And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I topped it all off with their deep-fried ice cream, smothered with strawberry and whipped cream. Absolute perfection!

Hands down, this was the BEST meal I’ve had in San Diego since moving here in 2019 — no matter the cuisine. The flavors were through the roof, the portions were generous, and every single bite was worth it. Crab Fever, you’ve set the bar sky-high!...Crab Fever will be added to my family restaurants rotation and absolute no brainer!

Diana was our waitress, very friendly and courteous! Beer was cold! Food was hot! Great combo!

Overcooked food. Didn't honor king crabs list on the board waiter said can't wipe it off. Calamari well over cooked and mostly batter

Food is really good and the servers are very sweet and quick.

The cook took a shortcut with my order, packing everything into a single bag and claiming it's their default unless requested otherwise. The weight of each order is definitely off! I let the lady service associates know they were mistaken and provided proof right on the spot. additionally they are playing song that its on a different language and so loud that I cannot make conversation with my wife.

Delicious food and plenty of it

Very basic. You can make this at home. Wish it were better, really need a good Cajun spot but this is bland. Great customer service though, wouldn’t return however unless they up their flavor.

Been here several times. Broil is usually great! They don’t give bibs and paper unless you are eating in. Otherwise recommended. Pleasant staff.
