6/4/2025@9:00am. I drove to this Hilbert's Mexican fast food chain. I placed a Ordered of a breakfast with potatoes burrito 🌯. Paid it, and drove off. Got home, ate the burrito 🌯 and the potatoes tasted weird. Few hours ago my stomach was hurting me. 😫 (8hours ago) I was vomiting the food. The potatoes 🥔 were bad 👎. I will not come here ever again! I don't recommend anyone to this place. No star's that's for sure!👎👎
I just ordered a simple steak, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. What i got was a mixture of pork , steak and mysterious meat maybe ham? Looks like I got the left over special!!
Cheap skates who give you different prices from menu then have the nerve to give you the wrong change.
Was in the area today, so I thought I'd try their rolled tacos. Bought 3 rolled tacos for $5 plus, almost $6.00. The person didn't give us the receipt. Tacos were, humm - okay - just so-so. I didn't particularly like the taste. Meat flavor, the filling, NOOO thank you. Plus tacos were very thin! No girth and were tiny. I gave it 3 stars. That's because the little remican of chili helped to improve the taste of the tacos, but only A LITTLE bit. I removed the meat from the taco and only ate the tortilla shell with the cheese & guacamole. Will I go there again? That depends on if I'm very, very hungry and there's no other type of fast food restaurants open. Other wise, NO THANKS.
The best carne asada burritos w/ sour cream in San Diego hands down. They only serve red hot sauce but it's delicious as well. You can probably get anything carne asada and be satisfied.
Man this place just went downhill. They raise prices bur went so cheap on ingredients. I got a cali burrito and literally got the tortilla folded into itself to compensate of all the extra space. The thinnest burrito I've ever had. It's the 3rd time and I guess it's the last.
This morning I went to Hilberto’s on 8th st and Euclid. I ordered my burrito with sour cream cheese a little bit of beans only; the receipt said exactly what I told the lady I wanted on my burrito . When I bit into my burrito it had guacamole to which I am allergic. When I brought the burrito back I advised that I was allergic to avocado and just wanted her to remake the burrito. The lady started to argue with me saying I didn’t say no guacamole and she’s gonna have to recharge me if I wanted another one because her boss would take the money out her pay. I ended up just getting a refund of the $17 and went to Rolando’s on paradise valley road which was much better anyways!
Always good authentic taco shop food.
Good old fashioned delicious generous food. Drive in or walk up.
Good enough for a late night food run. I've been craving adobada for 3 months.

Scam. Employee added a tip to my bill. Went through the drive-through and was given a total. When asked, I declined a copy of my receipt. After leaving, I received a notification on my phone that $6 had been added. I received a refund after contacting the store, but they failed to provide me with a receipt when requested. Stay away from this business!
Legit. Open late. Consistent.
Only thing good is there breakfast burritos I wish they would give more God dam hot sauce instead of charging you more huge burritos with only one sauce come on
It’s a drive thru for Mexican food. We had the breakfast burritos and tacos. It took longer than expected but worth the wait.
