There’s some punk teenager working there that was speeding in the parking lot and almost hit me. He drives a two door black Honda civic. I walked in and asked him to slow down and he passive aggressively said, “yeah whatever.” Management ought to speak with him because that reflects very poorly on their business as a whole if he’s associating himself with this company. It’s too bad.

Coffee was good, service was very friendly, space is very open. Just FYI they are affiliated with the church next door.

I love love love home coffee! I've been a fan ever since they opened during the pandemic. All their drinks are good and are on the lighter side. You can order pretty much anything from their full coffee and matcha bar in case you're craving something different. I think they have the best point system of all the coffee shops in San Diego. I accumulate points super fast and get free drinks and pastries often. Ever since they revamped their decor and merch they've attracted so many more customers. The cafe does get very busy especially after the church services so I recommend coming on weekdays or before church service.

I highly recommend the drink "Home Sweet Home" from their menu. I will ONLY drink coffee from Home Coffee. The swing benches outside add the perfect touch to the experience. And the indoor decor is

Their drinks are phenomenal. They have variety of options. Hot, iced, blended, you name it! I love their sugar free lattes especially salted caramel with oat milk. Iced SF salted caramel with oat milk is my go-to coffee drink when I want to splurge on drinks. The ambiance has changed a lot since their opening. Love the aesthetic. Very homey but need to place more outlets for people to plug in their laptops and devices for school or work. The choice of music can be a bit too stimulating. What this place needs to focus is, their customer service and barista training in regards to customer service. It's lacking! My family and I came here today 2/18/24 at around 07:30 AM. We entered and no greetings such as "welcome" or anything. There were two baristas. White girl and her partner - seems to be Filipina with winged eye liner. Both baristas had this resting bitch faces. It made me not wanna move forward because they made me feel like I am a bother to their morning. That was the vibe I received. Anyways, I went ahead and I specifically ordered for ICED SF salted caramel. We patiently waited. Our ordered went out and my drink came up - HOT. I told the barista that I ordered for ICED. The Filipina barista said "well, it says hot," pointing on the printed label with the stankiest face. She looked at her partner and finally said "ok, we will remake it." However, the way it was handled was a bit unwilling. I am not sure who owns or manages this place but definitely need to focus on CUSTOMER Service training. It does have a lot of potential - great products, good ambiance, but the customer service is such a fail.

Wow the girl was the best!!! She has dark brown hair speaks spanish beautiful tan skin (sorry I forgot her name :( ) but she is THE BEST. I couldnt decide the flavor of the muffin and she gave me the two muffins for free ?♥️ because she was gonna close soon… I really appreciate your generosity! The coffee was bomb and vibes are cozy. Packed and lovely. One can tell it is a business made and run with love, hope it comes back infinitely! :)

They added more seats but then covered up the outlets. Used to be my go-to spot then stopped for a while because I was moving. When I came back, saw that there are no outlets and my friends said that they stopped coming because of that reason too

As a lover of charcoal lattes, this place comes close to the one to Red Bay Coffee from the Bay Area. Really balanced with the charcoal, cocoa, and and coconut flavors. The space is pretty big and makes for a good study space. I ordered online and got my drink fast. My sister ordered the home sweet home with added whip, caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg. The only thing I dislike is that asking for less ice costs money which while i understand the reasoning behind it, i don't necessarily agree with it. Other than that, i would recommend this place.

Honestly... It seems like a great little coffee shop. Atmosphere was super nice and the staff seem very friendly. However, they only have one register going, so I had to wait approx 25+ minutes just to place my drink order. The young guy at the register seemed a little confused with my order...I ordered a simple black ice coffee, but I got a very, very sweet vanilla latte+ fixings - hu..? No mistake drink had my name. Go figure it was suppose to be a simple drink order..? No big deal, I decided to just leave cuz I could not wait. Perhaps it's my fault, I went in on a very busy Sunday morning. I'm sure that was it..???

Went here the other day while waiting for our table at Texas Roadhouse. Loved the interior and service was great. I got the horchata latte which was a bit disappointing, it tasted watered down. The BHL tea was really good tho
