I have eaten the veggie soup hot pot the last two nights in a row. The flavor is sweet/ salty and so savory, with tofu and lots of veggies. There are A LOT of Asian restaurants in San Diego. This is the first time I chose to eat at the same place twice in a row on my 4 day vacation! Vegetarian or not, this soup is out of this world. Now if they would just come to Denver…
Worst service in over 15 yrs of going there. Waitress Pam if that is even her name. Very rude and walking away when we would try to order. Once her tip was what she deserves she questioned us as to why. When we tried to explain her service she just walked away still complaining. Food is good. Will call before going again to make sure she is not working that day.
Food looked nice and had good taste, nice customer service, relaxing place. Overall rally good experience.
I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere! The waitress was very sweet and patient about/helpful with all my questions and, the service was super quick! The items are served Family Style (large enough portions to share and try multiple dishes!).They have some of the best duck I've had in a long time and there are so, so many other options to choose from.I tried the Panang Curry with Chicken, the Crispy Duck with Crispy Noodles and veggies and their Sampler. All of it was very delicious. You can choose the level of heat you want as well which is a big bonus!Don't pass up the Thai Milk Tea either - simply scrumptious and definitely hit the spot!Only downside I want to point out (and it's not really a reflection on them) is the parking can be kind of crazy. The restaurant is in a very busy shopping center.Well, well worth it though!
Family favorite Thai Restaurant. The service is always top notch. We celebrated a birthday and everything was superb. Our party of 15 was quickly accommodated by friendly staff. Had the shrimp Tom Kha Gai soup that was exquisite with plenty of shrimp and mushrooms. The fall-of-the-bone spare ribs were tender and full of savory flavor. They were a hit. The pineapple fried rice was also a hit. Everything on the menu is highly recommended.
Food is awesome every time but the waitress is terrible. She seems irritated and has no clue what she is doing. She has been there for almost a year now and service is just not acceptable.Me and my guest got part of the food but no drinks or utensils until much later. All we could do is look at the food for 5 minutes. It was really awkward service like she never had a restaurant job before. At the end she came out with the dessert and put it on top of our dirty dinner plates instead of clearing the table. I asked her to clear the table but she mumbled something and left the restaurant. I was looking for some one who could clear the table but there was no one in the restaurant.Me and my guest had to clear the table ourselves so we could eat the dessert on the table. We had to go into the kitchen and give the dishes to the people working there. The waiter looked embarrassed and the staff looked like it has happened before. Not sure what to do here. I love the food but I do not want to go back to get the same terrible service. The restaurant was slow that day so the bad service was not due to her being too busy. On top of that the waitress was having an attitude. She needs a lot of training or she needs to go. She completely is ruining the restaurant´s reputation. I hope that the owner will see this so there can be a change. I am considering going back to the restaurant explaining to the owner or the chef what is going on.The food is so good so I hate for them to go out of business due to that waitress.
HORRIBLE FOOD & HORRIBLE SERVICE.I came in alone for a late lunch. Ordered the Spicy Mint. According to the menu it should include mushrooms, bell pepper and onions. She brings out a near empty plate full of carrots and zucchini.I grabbed her a menu and asked if this is what I ordered coz it was completely different than what the menu states. She didn’t bother to apologize, just said it’s the same then took my plate and brought it back to me with raw mushrooms and bell peppers added.Despite that, the flavor was bland. I’ll never come back to this disgusting place and I recommend you stay away as well. Your money is better spent elsewhere.
Very delicious food, authenticity is key. totally recommend. The Folks here are super sweet. Super nice.
Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try the food. Bought my stepdaughter food to go from another place and brought it with us. The lady at the front sat us even though we had food then came back and kicked us out saying no outside food allowed. My wife and I were going to order anyway but it wasn't good enough. Great way to run a business... The lady was not pleasant in any way at all.
Went from 5 stars to 1 star. Rude service today... because a break is more important than customers. Years of coming here come to an end today. It used to be a Great place to eat Thai Drunken noodles ??? kids used to love it, the wife used to love it... what else could I say! Stay away!
Restaurantji Recommends
Local gem. The setting was average but what made this place stand out is the tastiness of each plate (we had the Panang) and good service. Pleasant experience!
It’s the only Thai Restaurant we saw so we decided to give it a try. I needed a receipt for our meal but they can’t even provide one LMAO. The cashier said the CC transaction copy is all they can provide (like I can use that to get reimbursed)??♀️ . They also made a mistake with our order and bill.. Their food doesn’t taste like thai especially their honey spareribs , it was very different. If y’all are traveling for business, etc and need an OR definitely not to dine here as they won’t give you one. Food doesn’t taste like authentic thai either. They also don’t take certain cards and they also kinda beg for tip .LoL.
I have been eating here since it opened. I have eaten at Thai restaurants all over Southern California and in Las Vegas. This is still my favorite. Took a foreign exchange student there before he returned to Thailand and he loved it! The workers there are from his same region and he said the food is how his mother cooks. Just ate there for the first time in months and still good.
SORRY FOR WRITING THIS BAD REVIEW………...as I don’t rate anyone negative & especially in this current state of situation for restaurant owner’s due to pandemic. But, please don’t eat at this place. Order 1st time from this place as I know my Thai food very well. And I order Thai Fried Rice with Tofu. Menu online & Uber says they use Basil,Chili,Bell Pepper, Garlic & Onion. But after getting home I discover that there was “No Basil, No Bell Pepper & No Onion” in my rice, I am left with just Tofu and Rice. At one stage I just tried to ignore it, but then I discover Mint and Cilantro in the rice. So I called the place and lady answer my call, so I asked her what do you put in your Thai Fried Rice, she took time to answer and ask me what happen. So I told her that I place an Order for spicy fried rice with tofu and I don’t see any onion, bell pepper or Thai basil in it and she is telling me “oh there is a bell pepper but we just put one piece, I said sure no problem and I saw one piece on top of the rice. So how about onion, then she tells me you only told me tofu, so I said okay. So how about the basil, then she said there is basil, I said no you put Mint & Cilantro and she is telling me no no no. I said there is. Oh it might be mistake and I will ask cheif and owner to update the info and sorry and that’s it.But no courtesy from her or even ask me to bring it back for replacement of the dish after spending $13 for the small portion of I should say “ OILY RICE”. I just ate 5 piece of Tofu and left the rest of rice. Photos itself says a lot about food.
I dined in and ordered Tom Yum Noodle and Boat Noodle. First, Boat noodle doesn’t look like authentic which I’m okay about it but smell and taste of both noodles were soooo bad… I think the meat wasn’t cooked right. Meat has wierd smell and I can’t eat after one bite. Trust me, I usually eat everything but that food… oh my.. couldn’t eat at all… I really wanted to complain but I told the lady and she looked angry. Didn’t even say sorry and didn’t want to know the problem. I just paid all and left. Felt really sorry for other customers there. Never ever x100 go back.
