Very good short order pinoy food. Best bibinka and pancit malabon. Dinuguan and puto is also good but the taste has changed a bit and the serving size was reduced a lot. Service improved a lot with the departure of the irritable and snubbish former supervisor.

I Googled this place and looked at their menu. A dozen bibingka $32-something. I get there and paid DOUBLE. Over $60 for these dessert. I CANNOT believe how expensive they are. That's a tank of gas! This was a rip-off.

Manila sunset dishes will not disappoint you. The restaurant serves fresh, delicious and healthy dishes. I highly recommend.

It's too hot inside during day time. No air conditioning 😞

Been coming to Manila Sunset for a few years now when I am in town. BBQ has always been great, tried other items on the menu - the gotto and tokwa at baboy, the bibingka and sago at gulaman.

*pic shows other food (bangus) but did not try.

Gotto was a little too bland for my liking but was paired nicely with the tofu. Bibingka was on point! Moist and buttery. Sago at gulaman was a let down as it was just crushed ice for the majority of it - by the time the ice had melted it just tasted like water with a hint of syrup.

Service took overall 25 mins which wasn’t too bad as it was quite busy and we had ordered a lot.

Another good thing about this place is that they give you a side of sabaw from sinigang. Very tangy and flavourful.

We loved all the food but here in Los Angeles we went to San Diego by East plaza we try everything is all dry no taste ( walang lasa lahat) compare the Manila sunset here

I waited for an hour for my order and followed up to check on its status. The server informed me that my order was not received in the kitchen. This was incredibly frustrating and felt like a complete waste of my time.

Worst 18 dollars I have actually ever spent in my entire life, Waited 50 minutes for an order of lechón and some lumpia. I went home and back and still my order wasn’t ready yet. When I finally got my order the portion was so small, and it didn’t even come with rice. Really?? Couldn’t even give me some rice with the food. Definitely never coming back here again, not worth the time nor money. I’ve seen other Filipino restaurants fill a whole plate for you for 15 dollars with more variety. Disappointed would be an understatement.

I want to love this place but the small portions they give out for the price you pay is not worth it imo. I went there with my S.O and we ordered two sets of meals and they gave us only one bowl of soup. Hindi man lang sinabi sakin na hindi pala included yung rice sa isang meal set. (Which I had to order extra rice) I then asked for another bowl and they charge us for the water down sinigang soup that didn't even taste great. You're better off cooking at home or eating at tit's kitchenette which they give out large portions tas meron ka pa leftovers for several days! I am giving them a 2 star for the bibingka with ice cream.

Our 1st time here. Very expensive for the tiny portions you get. The food was under seasoned. We now just come here for the bibingka. Try Tita's Kitchenette a couple blocks down. Same prices but the portions they give you can last you to the next day and the everything taste of so good.
