We love Korean Bbq!. Love this location. It's so much more open than their other location in Chula Vista. The vents are amazing that you barely smell any smoke. You never leave smelling like Korean bbq. The service was excellent. The kids loved the robots. We will definitely be back

The new Manna Heaven BBQ inside The Westfield Plaza Bonita opened in September of 2023 and was really nice offering a variety of fresh meats and sides. The restaurant was very spacious and three times the size of their other locations big enough to accommodate large groups and very clean. I liked the interior decor very modern and the robot that brings the food. I'm glad the prices didn't increase like many other BBQ restaurants. We look forward to going back to this location. The Manna location on Otay Lakes Rd is always busy and not big enough to bring a stroller this location was perfect. I recommend checking it out the restaurant is next to The Broken Yolk Café.

The place is nice to have dinner with the family. Love the food and our clothes did not smell like we just ate at a bbq place. The servers are attentive. My children love seeing the robotic passing by to deliver food to other tables. Sad that it was not able to deliver our food where we were located at. The only thing I was disappointed about is that there was no changing table for infants in the restroom. It was hard trying to change a 15 months old baby's diaper when there is no place for him to lay down. I hope the management/owner reconsider putting a changing table in the future. Overall, we had a great time enjoying our food. Definitely will go back again.

the food was great even tho they gave us small portions compared to other locations. the hostess was rude and would actively ignore both me and my bf if we had a question. i had went up to her to let her know that she had sat us down at a dirty table and she stood there ignoring me until another employee came to help. the woman who came to help cleared our tables immediately which was nice but it's gross that we got sat at a table that 1. has a dirty menu and 2. had like two chunks of meat. the table had definitely not been cleaned beforehand.

I want to express how deeply I love Manna in comparison to all the other kbbq spots I have tried in San Diego. The staff is always so friendly (I usually go to the one in Mira Mesa, as my son is on the spectrum and the staff is familiar with us and he is with them) however, we decided to try the one in Plaza Bonita as it's closer. Let me start off by saying that the hostess in the front on my particular visit was a bit rude. I called and asked if I can join the que virtually since I have no problem doing this at the other location, and the lady said no, that I had to be physically present to join the line, I asked how long the wait was and she said ten minutes. We got there fifteen minutes later and we were told it would be an hour wait. We decided to wait. While waiting there was a couple that claimed to have gotten kicked out of the line and the hostess literally sat them within five minutes of them appearing at the front. Our place in line kept moving up (further away from being seated) because other people kept coming in claiming that they had been waiting but that the que mysteriously kicked them out. I am going to say, that's bullshit because once you join, it texts you a link and you can follow your place in line via the yelp app, and when you want to leave the line, before actually getting kicked out it asks you if you are sure. I know this because my son uses my phone to pass the time and he almost accidentally kicked us out a few visits back, however, because it asks you to confirm your choice of action I was able to save our place. Anyway, Joanne, the manager at this location is such a sweetheart! Because of her I give this location 5 stars. Also, the nice waitress who was so kind and patient with us, and the waiter who gave us recommendations. The hostess in the front was horrible. I didn't catch her name but she was a petite woman.

Love this place! As i go always back home here in SD, it's good to know that there is now a closest KBBQ here in town and by the mall! It's located by the 1st level all the way to JC Penny's by the old broken yolk side. The unnie's and ajuhma are so nice and friendly. The food and the price? Its okay - not to pricey but bot cheap either. The food selections are also big and if you love kbbq -definitely the place to be. There is also a robot serving you to give you your meat of choice and also, a customer service button for the servers to know u need help if ever u needed help with anything. The only thing i notice is the leg room and the closeness of the chairs together with the other table. Other than that, all good. Thanks for the Experience Manna!

Food was delicious!!! This was our first time here and we had no idea what we were doing. We were helped by Danni, she was very insightful and we loved everything she suggested. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I were able to check this place out on a whim since we had to pivot for our date night (I had mixed up our concert dates lol) and we were pleasantly surprised! Firstly, this is a brand new Manna location and has only been open for a couple months now so to start off, right as we walked in, we appreciated the decor and cleanliness of the restaurant. It was a Tuesday night, so we were seated fairly quickly and I always appreciate when KBBQ spots already have banchan choices out for you. I don't know what it is, but the KBBQ places we frequent always have you order the specific banchan you want and don't have it readily available. A few meat stand-outs were the teriyaki ANYTHING. Whether it was teriyaki beef belly, brisket, boneless short rib, etc. The teriyaki sauce they used was so good and buttery. I didn't even feel like I needed to add the sauces they give you because the meat was good on its own. We only order maybe 3 meats at a time for 3 rounds total as my husband and I can't chow down as much as we used to but we truly enjoyed everything. I will say though, due to glaze on the meat, it made the grills burn up quicker and because the meat was extra frozen, it took awhile to cook. We kept double checking the temperature to make sure that the grill was even on. I love that they offered rice wraps and radish wraps because personally, that's all I need with my meat for KBBQ and we doubled up on the japchae (glass noodles) for our meal. Overall, it was extremely satisfying and I love that this spot is closer to home. I still have my top favorites that my husband and I will choose to drive to, but this spot doesn't disappoint.

Great KBBQ spot i had tried manna on convoy a few years ago and I wasn't a fan. But I gave it another try at this new location and it was the best experience I've had I love that they have good quality meat and a variety of sides.
