Delicious, good service and beautiful photos. I have known this place since 2004 and I always enjoy the food, service and atmosphere.

The tacos were good and really cheap. Definitely recommend the carnitas from here. Also the lady working there was very nice and helpful ?

As a native San Diegan, this is the hole in the wall place that I have always kept secret. In my personal opinion, this is the best place to get a taco. My usual order is the carnitas plate. The staff is super friendly and you won't find a better place that serves fresh beans and rice with your main entrée.
Food is still great after almost 40 years, though portions are smaller and more expensive these days. Weekend traffic is busy, so expect to wait for 30 minutes. If the parking lot is full (shared with Der Wienerschnitzel), I'll skip it and go somewhere else.

Ordered the fajitas which includes beans, rice, cilantro, guac and homemade tortillas. Truth be told, the food was very average - nothing memorable. However, the fresh handmade tortillas are some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, the service was stellar. I would try it again but would order something else.

Authentic homemade-style Mexican restaurant. Try the Birria de Res, Caldo de Res, and Horchata. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is chill. A San Diego Treasure, pass it on ??

The food was pretty good. A little bland to me, but with salsa, it was good enough. The woman server was very nice and friendly to us!

Food quality went down and price went up, salsa is still though. Sadly not as good as it was 3 or 4 years ago. And i don't eat it regularly eitherWheelchair accessibility: Direct access into the building
Always tasty, nothing fancy but very good food.
