I bought a lechon pan. I didn't check because I trust people, especially filipinos, that they won't give me a BURN HARD LECHON KAWALI SOAK IN OIL FOR DAYS. NOBODY BUYED IT. A GOOD PLACE TO BUY FOOD. ,VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED .

Their food is really good and affordable. Tbh they’re risking alot since most dishes are pork, personally I get sick when the pork is not well cooked or its old and I always enjoy this

I always get pork menudo and half rice/pancit. Pretty good. I had the bbq chicken once and it had a weird taste. However, my regular order is 10/10 normally.

I came here on Christmas Eve to pick up some hot food to go because Tita's Kitchenette was ransacked and completely out of everything. There was a wide selection of food here and we picked up bangnus (fish), lechon, dinugian, and a few others. The hot foods were fresh and not dried out, flavors were good and I was overall satisfied. They ran out of sisig but the lechon was a good substitute. Fair pricing and kudos to them for being stocked with food on Xmas eve!

Grab some to go foods and it's buy 1 get 1. Freshly cook meals and tasty. Very friendly service (Leni and Lyn) with a smile:-) a 5 star rating. The place is clean and tide and conveniently located inside Island Pacific here in National City. Definitely worth to visit.

Sooooooo dissapointed :( I was so excited when I saw them on Doordash I OVER-ordered. Lumpia were so over fried, and the BBQ pork/chicken sticks were soooo dry and didn't even taste like meat. Had to throw ALL away. I only enjoyed the sweet sauce.

Rude and take their time preparing an order, I’ve been here for 40 mins now just to pick up an Uber

Good food, if they have it available. All the good stuff goes quick. Don't order online because your order will be wrong 50% of the time.

Love the Menudo (Filipino style) and the Bar-b-que pork (if you can get it). This place has been around forever and is a staple of the community.

I never been to the cafeteria itself. I have been ordering through doordash/ubereats. The halohalo is good but they keep on messing up my combo order. I ordered sinigang but I receive nilaga. The sinigang is too salty and lemony I don't know how to describe it, not crispy and also just look at the size of that onion.

I was SO surprised to see 3 star reviews on Yelp... I agree with Michele P. below, anyone nitpicking should just cook the food themselves lol!Ordered on DoorDash and was extremely satisfied with my order. I was craving comfort food and PhilHouse was spot on! We went IN and I wish we would've taken pics, but will definitely be ordering more so I'll update when we do so. Here's what we ordered:Chicken Adobo - sooooo tender, juicy, and flavorful, literally falling off the bone; tasting this definitely made me nostalgic for some home cooked adobo. Pork Menudo - YUM!!! very flavorful, the meat was just a taaaad on the overcooked side but it was still delicious.Pork Sisig - again, the flavors were SPOT on, there was a nice citrusy flavor that made me want calamansi on the side to add even more. Bistek - this was the one dish that was okay. It wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't stand out in comparison to everything else we ordered. Soooo happy they're on DoorDash and I don't have to make the trip down to National City to grab some good, affordable, comfort filipino food. 10/10 AND they even delivered the food 10 minutes sooner than DoorDash had estimated.

I got the 3 combo with pancit, pork adobo, pork sinigang, and beef caldereta, plus lumpia and halo halo with ube ice cream. Pancit was a 4/5 star, hoping for a little more veggie. Pork adobo was made with pork belly, so understandably pretty greasy, but taste was on point, 4.5/5. Pork sinigang was sooo sour but I like it that way. Strange it got separated into to foam containers. Why couldn't they just use a plastic quart container like most other takeouts for soups? 5/5 for taste, 2/5 for packaging and difficulty unpacking without making a complete mess. Beef caldereta was tangy and savory, but some pieces of the large chunks of beef was slightly chewy and the flavor did not penetrate to the center, 3/5, edible still. Lumpia was soggy but fine after heating in the toaster for 10min. Filling was pretty tasty but scant. Order contained about 12 small ~1" lumpias and I usually like the medium sized ones better since you get more filling and less greasy wrapping. 3/5, not sure if I'd order from here again.Halo halo was ordered on a whim at check out, not something I'd go for normally. I didn't finish it because half the toppings, like the palm seeds, had a mushy texture that I did not enjoy. The ube was great though, 2/5.Ordered delivery through Uber Eats, and the driver had another delivery to make after already picking up my food, so my experience may have been affected by the 25min delivery time, and also the complete lack of care in how things were delivered. The beef caldereta foam container was squished to a football shape, and even with two layers of plastic wrap tightly wrapping the container, it still leaked everywhere in the bag. The halo halo was also sealed tightly, but was left on its side rather than upright, so there was leakage as well. Plus it probably melted a great deal because it was more like a boba tea with a large chunk of ice in the center, since it was not insulated in anyway, but at least it was in its own bag away from the hot food. There really are not many filipino food available for delivery. I think if I am in the mood and am too lazy to pick up from my usual place, Tita's, I probably will order again from here.

Phil house employees can be very choosy on who they help my African American daughter went to pick up our order and it seemed to take her longer due to them talking amongst each other as well as answering any questions random shoppers would have it took them 6 mins to even acknowledge her pls spend your black dollar where it will be appreciated !

Authentic- remembered just like it was in pinas. Served by Titas- legit! We had adobo, lumpia Shanghai, pakbet, pansit. Serving size family style. I get all the hype.
