I hadn’t been to a Red Robin in years and recently I’ve been back TWICE because I totally forgot how AMAZING their burgers are just delish plus the prices are such a great deal 💸🙌🏼

One of the biggest reasons I had to leave this review is the OUTSTANDING service ⭐👏🏼Both visits I received some of the fastest, friendliest service I’ve had in a long long time ⏱️😊 Even though they were super busy, the manager still took time to come by to clear the table and check in to see we were happy 😃 finally a place that truly cares about customer service!! Our waitress was awesome too 👍🏼

It was a really good time at Red Robin today!!
The double scorpion burger was delicious, plus the improved mudd pie is really great, bottomless fries, a good drink, and all is set for a fantastic afternoon with the family!!

Me my kids and a friend were sat jn the bar (not sure who wants kids in the bar but okay) the bar was not busy so I went with it. We ordered drink and i asked for a tanqueray and tonic. Alex the cocktail waiter said they didn't have that kind of gin (interesting i always order that there) then said okay ill do crown and coke , he then proceeded to say they d3ont have crown either. Okay ill just take a water. We order our food everyone's food came out one after another my children both had a pizza with bottomless fries and one kid had 2 fries and the other kid had 4 fries. The friend ordered a burger with bottomless fries and got 5 fries and I ordered my wings plain with dry rub on the side, ranch and bottomless fries. My fries never came out. We were never checked on after our food got to our table. So I went to find the manager and asked for refills on our bottomless beverages, along with fries and napkins. The cocktail waiter finally comes over after we were done eating and I said hey can I please have a water refil he said im trying to fix your issue the whole bar is waiting for your issue to be resolved and I was shocked. The manager comes over because I can't pay the bill on their tablet to leave because I'm just done. The manager is like we are working on your boneless wings and I was confused. I didnt order boneless wings and never asked for them to be remade.

Needless to say I got my water on refills as I signed the check to leave. On the way out we 100% told the family walking in not to go in and they listened saying dang we were just going to give them one last try. And I said this was our last try at this location. The last time I came they messed everything us and gave me a meal coupon (I couldn't find it) the other family went ahead and walked out as well they said this location used to be their go to as well..

My chicken tasted like it sat out and was fried too fast the inside was so stringy and weird.
I only left Alex a tip at the bar because the manager took care of half my bill with a weird attitude.. and maybe Alex should watch how he speaks to people becaaue im not naturally nice when spoken too so crazy. My whole table almost walked out without paying because this location has definitely gone down hill completely. It's sad we can't have good customer service these days.

The restaurant was very busy and can use a deep cleaning.
But the wait wasn't too long.
However, we did wait quite a bit of time for a server after we were seated. The manager stopped to inquire and we told her we were still waiting for help. She proceeded to say that she could take our order which she did. Our server turned out to be friendly.

The first order of fries was amazing.
My burger 🍔 was beyond well done.

It seemed as if the servers were rushed...

Overall, not bad. Because of the fries, I'll be back...😋

I’m the kind of person who somehow always ends up getting bad customer service everywhere I go—my friends even joke about it. So when someone gives truly great service, I'll make sure they’re recognized for it. With how stressful everything is these days, it’s rare to find people who still show real kindness and genuine care. That’s exactly why Melanie stands out so much.

Melanie is by far our favorite server at the Red Robin in Plaza Bonita and we have been a regular for years. We always request her, no matter how busy it is, she is absolutely worth the wait. Every single time we come in, she welcomes us with a smile, a friendly attitude, and such warm, positive energy. Whenever we walk into Red Robin, Melanie already knows our usual order and drinks and it's already ready. She talks to us like she genuinely cares, and you can tell she truly enjoys her job. We're always having a great time whenever we are here and leave in a good mood because of her.

We honestly wouldn’t come here as often as we do if it wasn’t for her. She deserves to be recognized for the outstanding service she provides. Red Robin in National City you are incredibly lucky to have her!

Always a good grub time when coming here. The burgers are good and the wings are also good. Gotta get the garlic fries! The bartender Garret was a great dude.
