In my recent order from this establishment, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of care and attention to detail displayed in the preparation of my food. The fries were disappointingly bland, the macaroni salad had an unpleasant sour taste, and the sausage was overcooked and lacked flavor. The tender beef was also undercooked and dry. The potato salad had a stale and artificial flavor, reminiscent of ingredients that had been sitting in the refrigerator for an extended period. Finally, the baked beans were burnt and lacked any desirable taste.

This place is iconic and absolutely delicious the best beans in southern California and a bbq sauce I buy by the quart. It’s not pricey it’s usually not crowded take out is my fave cause I dislike most people..

I just came in at 8:25PM and the lady said I need to take it to go. They close at 9:00PM. After I pointed this out to her she allowed me to dine in but I was too irritated; I went to eat elsewhere.

5/26/2025 went to get some pork ribs and a pull pork sandwich and got very very disappointed the ribs were dry and hard and the pulled pork sandwich was a joke look like it was a jr. Bacon cheese burger tiny burger and mac an cheese was flavorless never going back again

Very low quality bbq.. no flavor. Mac salad is nasty! Definitely better off going to a higher end bbq amd paying extra for quality

Always a great experience. I have been coming here since my grandparents took me here in the early 90s. Love this BBQ place! Great food especially when you're craving a home cooked meal. You dont want to miss out on trying this at least once! Young man at the counter such great service, serves with a smile.
