My parents use to work here way, way ,WAY back in the day when it was owned by the Jensen's. This is one of the few things I do miss about California. Whenever I'm back in Southern California, I always make sure to stop in. Great food, great atmosphere. All around, a definite must.

I've been going here for years. The best roast beef sandwich. The ribs are good also. They also make great coleslaw.

Literally just my favorite place for BBQ. It hasn’t changed in decades and it’s still just as I remember as a child. 10/10

Historical spot. The beef dinner plate was SMACKING. Besides the incredible bbq, the service was next level as well.

Can’t believe I haven’t been here before. No brisket, other than that good BBQ. I had the BBQ Beef sandwich with Mac and Cheese. I will go back again.Parking: Shopping Center so there are plenty of spots available.

Only one minor complaint they switched dinner rolls and butter for burger buns, without letting us know ahead of time. The barbecue beef was excellent as were the baked beans and potato salad. We had ordered dinner for 72 people for a nonprofit organization and we were granted special pricing. I recommend this establishment to friends and family, as well as for take out for larger groups! Thank you Todd. ???????

This place has an old school feeling to it. Super spacious and seems to always be empty. The meats are awesome. Not great, not bad, just awesome. The reason for the 4 stars are the sides. Seems like they put a lot of effort in the meats and the sides are horrible! Mac salad is overly sweet, potato salad is watery, fries are almost cold and nasty. The beans are the only good side that I would order. Good spot if you’re in the area. Not worth the drive if you’re not.

the food was okay, and service was practically instantaneous, but when the place isn't busy (which it seems like it always isn't), it feels incredibly dreary; the inside looks pretty outdated. would have to be seriously convinced to come back here, otherwise, i'd rather go to some other barbeque restaurant.

Recommended by friends but i thinks its been a solid decade since they last came service was definitely friendly and warm food was not southern and once you drench it in the BBQ sauce its passable. Would not recommend or go back.
