I went here while I was visiting a friend on spring break. It had a nice atmosphere and wasn't busy when we stopped by as we had a late lunch. We ended up getting the birria ramen and birria tostada, both of which taste great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Next time that I'm back in the San Diego area, I certainly plan on making a pit stop here.
Overall okay experience, I was expecting more of a flavor burst but the birria and the consomé missed the target for me. Didn’t take photos of my food sorry it was cold and I couldn’t bare to eat cold tacos.
This is a pretty good Birria place just a bit better than a couple of its big name competitors. The meat is nice and tender. And the tacos come with a generous amount of meat. And I personally like how they lightly crisp the tortillas so I assume they don't go soggy from the juice from the meat. The only down side is that there drinks are a bit over priced for the size, but, the up side they don't put a bunch of ice like most place. And the horchatta is great with fresh...
