As a frequent customer of Winchell's Donut House, I was disheartened by my recent encounter with one of their cashiers. I don't know her name, but I have met her several times in the past while ordering. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by unwelcoming behavior from the cashier. His attitude was dismissive and his tone very rude. Despite trying to make polite conversation, I was met with the worst customer service. What caught my attention the most was the lack of professionalism of the cashier. Customer service is paramount in any business and, unfortunately, in this case it was sorely lacking. As someone who values courteous treatment and respect, I found the encounter deeply disappointing.While I understand that everyone has days off, it is essential that employees, especially those in customer-facing roles, maintain a level of professionalism and courtesy at all times. I recommend that management talk to her about how to improve her customer service skills.Translate: As a frequent patron of Winchell's Donut House I was disheartened by my recent encounter with one of their cashier. Winchell's dozen is a fantastic deal. Way better quality than Dunkin which gets the inky fake taste in the frosting. Everything that I've had here is exceptional. Coffee is delicious. Ham and cheese croissant is flaky buttery goodness. With all that AND being open 24 hours this place is a no-brainer. Still open since the 1940's for a reason!

Manager told me she just wanted to go home so she purposely made less donuts so that they can close down early on New Year’s. Normally when I come here the staff are very slow and do not move with the purpose usually takes them about 10 minutes to handle one customer, very disappointed manager didn’t even want to be there. It was upset that corporate made them stay open so she purposely made less donuts. That sucks for a customer like me.

There service sucked this morning, i went in asked for a bagel with cream cheese and a man said no we don't have it right now and I pointed to the bagels and he said no we only serve donuts right now I was what that's the first I heard of that.

When I found out they have a Winchells in Fallbrook, I had to go. This donut place gave me “nourishment” growing up on the tiny island of Guam. My parents used to buy winchells donuts once a week on a Saturday or Sunday to be served as part of breakfast. This winchells definitely did not disappoint. Everything looked fresh and tasty. I personally didn’t taste any, but purchased two dozen of my favorites to share as I previously had breakfast before going to Winchells. I will say, that everyone that did have a donut said they were delicious. Bottom line: would I go there again? 110% yes! I wanted to try everything. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient.

Try the breakfast sandwiches the Luv of my life and I used to go there. You have to get one of those fancy coffees too. Did I say doughnuts? Oh balls...you know the center of the doughnut balls?! You will NOT get a discount anymore if you secretly ask for JASONS balls.(Or will you you?)haha.

wanted to give this place a try and the worker or owner was immediately rude, i was going to buy donuts but i had trash to throw away and he had treated me rudely. wish i could recommend this place but service is terrible.

The place is really nice and the customer service is lovely. I was in San Diego for vacation and went there two days in a row and the lady remembered us. The donuts are soft and rich with flavor best donuts I've ever had. There is a wide variety of not just donuts but other foods and drinks. Loved it a lot, definitely would recommend and go back. ?
