Came by when I saw they had a happy hour menu from 3-6pm for $5-6 standard rolls and appetizers. For a smaller additional cost, you’re able to test out a selection of their premium rolls for $9. Restaurant is clean, service was passable but the highlight was the food - the quality of the appetizers and sushi was outstanding, fresh, and creative. The BOGO 50% off draft beer paired well with the delicious meal. Overall excellent value for both the happy hour and also the lunch menu.

A decent sushi spot in National city. Prices are enticing (20-30% cheaper that the competition) but the food quality is lacking. Tuna Tataki, despite having a bunch of good size pieces, did not taste fresh. Miso soup was mostly broth with a few lonely pieces of tofu and seaweed. Philadelphia roll was the only thing that tasted good, and the reason I am giving 4 stars and not 3. I might order a few other rolls as the price is better than in most grocery shops, and the quality seems comparable.

I didn't want to leave a review since I didnt want my secret spot to blow up but this is one of the best HH and sushi in National City, South Bay area. They have a great HH selection everyday, fresh sushi and great service. I've been coming here more frequently and the taste and presentation are always beautiful. Chill spot with great food not only sushi, the ramen looks delicious, appetizers are yummy too. Check them out :)

I got the 'Chef's Choice Sashimi Bento Box' with a salad. My boyfriend got 'Katsu Don'. We also shared a bowl of Garlic Edamame and the 'Dancing Tuna' sushi roll.
The bento box was good. The fish was fresh, the gyoza was the perfect consistency and tasty, the side salad was marinated well with the dressing.
The Katsu Don was also really well put together and was super filling and tasty.
The garlic edamame was like no edamame Ive had before. The sauce they put on the edamame made it the best I've ever had and well portioned out.
The sushi roll we shared was the perfect balance of flavor and textures. Not to spicy. It enhanced the fish flavor with accentuation and made it blend well together.
I think I found another top sushi place.

Way too much filler in the sushi. I've never had so much cucumber in a roll before. The restaurant was completely empty. It took them 35 minutes to bring four rolls. The guy working was so pissed off. Not many guys have rbf. I would have given it a 3 if he wasnt so angry. Ayce not worth it. Just stick to one or two rolls probably to go
We ordered in, it was absolutely delicious. Very fresh. We tried something new and everything was delicious. We're from Florida so we're used to very good sushi. This was a one of the best.

I inhaled the food before I could take any photos. The chicken katsu musubi was amazing. Super crunchy and the meat was mouth watering juicy. The bbq combo was also great. The meat and rice portions were generous. Im not going to L&Ls now that I know this place exists.
Parking: Theres a lot of parking but the lot is packed on the weekends.

The food is really good! We did an all you can eat sushi. The server was a little mean at first, might have been him struggling to explain the menu in English and started to get frustrated but he was nice towards the end. He told us that if we didn't finish our food then we had to pay an extra charge but he let us go without paying even though we still had a little bit left. The atmosphere is decent. There were quite a few regulars. We could tell when they say down and was asked if they wanted the usual. I will definitely be coming back!

If you love waiting as much at Disneyland or Universal you're in for a ride. Enjoy a comfy bed of rice per each bite and never make it past round 1 before they close.
My boyfriend and I came on a Sunday night at 6pm with two other tables dining here already (pretty much empty) and I swear they have the most slowest service ever.
The server of ours is an asian lady with short hair wearing a red shirt and she didn't bother to check in with us after like 30-40mins.
Instead of catering to the guest eating here, this server lady would rather just go to her colleagues and flirt with them.
She needs to be trained again and hire someone else who is more attentive to work here.
It took a whole hour to even get our simple orders ready which was just a couple rolls and nigiri's.
Aside from that with such slow service, 3 front running staff are all taking a break so no water service or any service??? I have never seen this happen in my entire life and I don't know if that is even possible (SEE PICS)
The food here is bad and dull and they add way too much rice which honestly was very unnecessary (SEE PICS)

Their AYCE is the best I've tried in National City. They probably recognize us every time we go now. Been going almost 1-2/month since before the pandemic, I believe they had another name. 10/10 would recommend
