Service was weak for a weeknight (Wednesday). Should always anticipate a large party (8). Ice water and napkins are basics. As great as the food is ( it would be a 5 if service was better). You're almost there; tighten up.
Food was not bad it was decent but the service is lacking. They did not give us water i had to get it myself, they messed up one of my order, and I have to pick up your own to go box.. this is my 1st time not putting any tip.. so sad this is not the Zarlitos that i know and

Every time me and my kids visit San Diego, we always look for an authentic Filipino cuisine. Been so many places but this restaurant stands out the most! Love love love the “Dinuguan” and my boys loved their Crispy Pata. Staffs are awesome and went above and beyond accommodating us. People friendly, family oriented facility. This restaurant made it feels like Home! Highly recommended. Bringing my American friends here next time we visit!
If you're craving or wanted to try good quality filipino food, you definitely need to try Zarlitos!The restaurant is clean and We really like the ambiance and decorations.My Husband and I, ordered beef Bistek meal(comes with lumpia and pancit) ala carte pancit, &binagoongang baboy. My husband's fave is bistek so he's got a high standard when it comes to Bistek! So I know he likes it, when he finished everything and barely want to share it with me ?. Also thought we ordered just enough for 3 until the food was serve and was I wrong, we we're stuffed and still have a lot of left overs to take out.P.s, They've been operating Since the early 90's so that's definitely something!

Zarlitos have always been one of my favorite restaurants. Once ownership changed the restaurant will never be the same. The mayonnaise in the sisig ruined it. The sisig fries is not the same as it used to be. I’ve seen the female owner be cruel to the employees. Just the way she treats her employees I will never eat there again.

Filipino dishes are not that good. We ordered sisig and papaitan but they’re bad. Sisig had a lot of onions and it was dry. The papaitan was cooked with chuncky meats which is bad for elderly’s teeth. Water was full of ice and they don’t check their customer’s table on what the customer need. You have to call them or go to front desk.

Food is great. Fresh, delicious and taste very good. I’ve ordered food for our company meeting. They delivered right on time, very nice and clean packing. They also gave us extra Lumpia which was one of the best Lumpia I ever had. I highly recommend to try.Vegetarian options: The noodles was the best. Vegetarian rolls was very delicious.
This will be my last day coming to Zarlitos. The cook always run out a vegetable that belongs to the ingredients. Today what I ordered was a waste of money and didn’t even taste good. I have complain several times but it seems like nothing is getting solved.
