First class place all the way around. The owners are a great couple making their dream come true. From farm to table organic home grown veggies from their personal garden. Lisa runs a tight ship with top notch servers & staff. The decor is lovely inside and the ambiance of the outdoor patio is the best. Nestled in the greenery with a waterfall babbling in the background. Chef Vince prepares your delicious menu & prepares your creative, delectable dish!
You can expect to pay a little more but it’s an all around quality dining experience.

The entire meal was outstanding, and the staff were both friendly and attentive. We started with the escargot as an appetizer. My husband had the NY steak, which was perfectly cooked to a medium rare and paired with a flavorful Caesar salad. I chose the Beef Wellington along with the soup. For dessert, we indulged in the crème brûlée and the chocolate soufflé. Every dish we tried was exceptional, and we highly recommend them all.

My wife and I ordered the filet mignon “Flash Special”. The fillet had a strip of silver skin or connective tissue running down the middle of it. It was almost impossible to chew. I would expect a lot better from a steakhouse. I made reservations and a requested their flash special for two. The special was to include a chocolate mousse for dessert which my wife was looking forward to. When it came time for dessert, we got a pastry instead because they didn’t make enough desserts. We both were very disappointed in the meal. Probably not going back.

My daughter and I had a wonderful dinner starting with the freshest, well-dressed garden salads. Our main entree choices were the grilled salmon and beef Wellington followed by dessert including chocolate mousse cake and Profiteroles (best dessert we’ve ever had!) Every aspect of this dinner was top notch. Our waiter, Ryan, was very personable and definitely knows his stuff…wondered if he was also a chef, based on his representation of each menu item. The atmosphere on the patio was so pleasant with the waterfall sounds and sight in the background. We highly recommend Alexander’s Station House in Nevada City. ?

Went here for Valentine’s Day dinner. Nice presentation with live music. Service was good. Food was mediocre. Beautiful spot but nothing special about the food.

The food was EXCELLENT! The service was extremely slow. I feel as if the servers were trying to give guests enough time to enjoy their meal, but they definitely gave it way too much time in between courses. The smell of the building when you enter is very musty and old.
