Everything is overpriced just because it's organic. Get the same thing at a regular store cheaper. Even SPD is cheaper and that saying a lot. I do like some of their meal deals from the deli though.

I love supporting this little grocery store! I come here multiple times a week for lunch because the food is so healthy, fresh and delicious and knowing it is organic makes it 100% worth the price. Highly recommend the teriyaki turkey meatballs, farro salad, parmesan panko chicken breast, shitake and broccoli salad, deviled eggs, and chicken tenders.

They used to be good. They still have a couple of good employees, but the overall quality of the produce and personnel has declined and the older woman with the glasses always seems bitter and unhappy about being there.

Visited today..August 15th. I haven't been here in several years since I sold my house in Nevada City. I went to the deli area because they used to make great tuna salad. The lady said I would have to wait 20 minutes until they make it. I passed on that. I then asked for just a cup of coffee and she said she would have to make another pot..5 to 10 .minutes . So I passed on that. Nobody else in line for the deli.
Such a disappointment...unfortunately nothing like it used to be. I noticed suishi in the raw has taken over the dining area which opens at 430pm. Hopefully this will help this business.
I will stick to the newer organic grocery store in Grass Valley in the meantime and hope they can do better because i have great memories of this place! .

The selection is decent. I stop by a few times a week. The problem is....just how unfriendly the people who work there are. They are always busy chatting with each other. And when they are busy doing that, they won't help customers until they are finished. I'm not sure who the thin tall fella is, but he is always chatting it up with the cashier's. He will look directly at you, see that you are ready to check out and he will just keep on chatting.
