I have never actually eaten here but the owners of this place are wonderful people. He saw a listing that my dog was lost and has gone way out his way to help look for him/post fliers ect. I know anytime I am in Nevada City I will be stopping here for lunch.

This places feels like a relic of Old hippie California. It has a menu that reads like a Dr Bronners label. The prices are unbeatable for how healthy it is. Love it! Hope it stays.

I have tried this restaurant 5 separate times in the past year. Each time it takes a wildly long time to receive food (took 30 minutes to get a bagel with hummus, no one else was in line). On two occasions I witnessed staff being downright mean to other patrons. Service aside, the food is quite bland. I would love to introduce them to salt and pepper. I love that theres a truly vegan menu option in town, but boy oh boy is it not great.

Long time Fudenjüce patron here! I am so glad to live nearby and enjoy the food and smoothies so often. I have visited at least three times a week for over three years and can say the products and service are consistently excellent and super healthy. I really like the people, too. Thanks so much for providing a wonderful place in Nevada City!

Yesterday we ordered 2 soups and 2 sandwiches. Food ok. Wait time not ok as it took 30 minutes before we got our food. Smoothie orders were being doled out while we waited. Staff was not willing to initiate any apology until we complained. For these reasons I give it a 2 star.

I want to like this place so very much! As a vegan I love supporting veg places and I’ve been here lots of times… but really the service needs to improve. If I order online, the order has never once been ready near the pickup time. Staff doesn’t seem to care, they’re loudly talking about partying last weekend etc. The last time I went, I got a bread slice while I was waiting for my to go order to be done and told them I was there for it but they never called my name. 20 minutes later I asked again and it was ready and cold. If the staff was better trained I would go here all the time
