Beautifully decorated historic cocktail bar. Great place to have a drink and relax. The menu is extensive and the bar tender was able to make me a virgin toddy which was tasty.
Worth your time to get a drink here! Very friendly and welcoming people here, those working and the guests.
While staying in Nevada City, we were told to check-out the Golden Era. We did, arriving shortly after it opened in the late afternoon. The Saloon/Bar was beautifully decorated in a timely historic way. The ambiance was truly enjoyable. The drinks were aptly named and reasonably priced. The tenders were pleasant, courteous and friendly. Other family members later joined us for more drinks and a great time chatting it up. My Wife and I came back later in the evening to listen to the live music which was fantastic! Next time we are up here, we will certainly be back!
Truly special place for locals like us, and visitors alike. Delicious cocktail, Frannie is a delightful bartender. Great evening spot.

Decent cocktail with really good prices. $12 a cocktail! Best of all, no cover charges and they have a DJ on weekends ?.Mix of and old crowd. People are having a good time here

Impressive range of unique spirits, lots of mezcals. and they proudly stock South Fork Vodka, a beloved choice among locals. Unique cocktails, fabulous atmosphere, what more could you want?

Great place to go have a delicious cocktail and some laughs with friends/family or a date. I had an "old fashioned" and it was well made plus the building is basically a historic monument. Good drink pricw for the quality.
