I discovered this jewel today. What a wonderful place. Great people! Amazing food. I highly recommend this place. I made some new friends. Merci beaucoup. À très bientôt.

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem, off the beaten path in historic Nevada City! The owner and her staff are absolutely charming. Her food was divine! We each got the California burger and that garlic aoli was AMAZING! Lovely patio seating area. There is a water bowl for your furry friend, too.

Waited over an hour for our order, which NEVER CAME. After repeatedly asking if our meals were being prepared, we were finally told our tickets weren’t even printed for the kitchen and asked for a refund.
Poor organization, poor service, don’t even know what the food tastes like. All the tables around us were having the same experience. NEVER AGAIN.

Food was fair. Service poor. Looked short staffed. Server told us about 20 minutes to be seated. We asked a couple if they would move a seat down at the counter and sat down. Seemed like we were then ignored. Got up to get our menus and waited another 10 minutes for water. Still no communication from server to let us know we were seen even though she gave us water. Finally got our order placed and waited about 25 more minutes for 1 breakfast. When the cooks were caught up one of them rang up or check and gave it to us. Server ignored us during our stay.

This place was very nice on a warm day, the shade was great. It is also dog friendly. The food was good when we finally got it, 30min after we ordered. My husband pretty much was the waiter, got our menus and waters and took the order. I noticed the other workers didn’t seem to know what to do with a bottle of champagne, just pretty much gave it to the people that ordered it. I’m not sure what this restaurants deal is but the food was good 🤷‍♀️

Sort of an eclectic place off the beaten path of Broad Street. French accented. Patio was nice for lunch. Great menu. We had a Proscuito/Brie Baguette with great fries. Very good. Service was relaxed but good.

What a great little spot! The food was especially good, and the service was phenomenal. Just off the main road in town with a very nice patio area, well shaded from the hot summer sun. I would highly recommend this place!!

The outdoor seating area is super cute and dog-friendly, which we loved. That said, the experience wasn’t the best. The staff seemed really overwhelmed—probably because they were short-staffed—and no one came to clean our table after the previous guests, even after we asked. We waited over an hour for our burgers, and when they finally came out, they were way too salty. Totally understand they were doing their best, but overall, it just wasn’t a great visit.

It’s a French place managed by a very kind and friendly French lady. The choice is very good. A lot of tastes and genuine stuff. If I were to complain, it would be their very generous portion. Apparently others eat everything. I couldn’t.
Thank you for the great experience.

Such good breakfast! Mmm, I’m full but want to eat more! Rich and made with care. I love the patio under the large, beautiful tree. The folks running this restaurant are warm and friendly, almost stereotypically French cooks.

My family loves this place! Just enjoyed a Mother’s Day brunch and everything was excellent. All the food is so quality and the vibe is very casual and friendly. When the weather is right, sitting on the lovely patio makes it even more enjoyable. Wish I’d taken pics of the food, but when it arrived all we were thinking of was eating it…we devoured it all. Sharing a picture of the beautiful tree that shades the patio instead.
