The staff are so joyful and considerate!

Ananda translates to happiness and serenity in the foothills. The Ananda Village has weathered many obstacles. Including a forest fire that destroyed all but one of its dwellings, a feud with Gold Rush country old-timers and country planners over an attempt to incorporate Ananda into a separate city. Master's Market, Bakery and Deli is a vegetarian organic grocery store located in the heart of the Ananda Village. The sugar free, oat milk espresso drinks are creamy and delicious. Grab a cold beverage and a snack, then sit under the trees. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Masters Market has under gone a rebirth designed to serve the needs of the community more efficiently. The uplifted vibration and sacred space remains the same with a new focus. Friday night pizza, Ananda Farms produce and delicious lunches are still available. I recommend a visit next time you are at Ananda Village.

My favorite market in the area. Always stocked with healthy organic choices in multiple brands. The staff is friendly and Friday night pizza is a family celebration embracing everyone who comes.

Love this place, very friendly, great green lawn to relax and enjoy the great food they prepare. And, YES, they serve hot lunch 6 days a week, have a Deli with great selection, and microwave or oven, to warm up food if needed. Fridats, from 5 to 7pm, homemade PIZZA!

Limited selection. No freshly prepared food. Just microwavable stuff.
