Outer Heaven Espresso is the best coffee in Nevada City/Grass Valley. It is evident Stephen, and his team, are passionate about their craft and the community reaps the benefit. They roast their own beans, which are incredible. And, if you like making espresso at home, the Sprochuck is divine ✨️ They don't just do coffee, you can pick up baked treats and sourdough, too! We are lucky to have this gem in town.

Truly my favorite little coffee shop. The drinks are spectacular, the pastries are divine, and the vibes are so inviting- genuinely a safe space for everyone. Even though the space itself is cozy/snug, it always seems to feel companionable, not uncomfortable (and that's coming from a girl who does NOT enjoy crowds) 🖤

THE BEST iced mocha I’ve ever had!☕️💕Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and coffee was made fresh with care. They also had pastry menu and we had bougatsa (it was sooo good!!). We also noticed that they used handmade pottery cups for espresso and grabbed one for ourself as souvenir. - Mayu

I’ve enjoyed every drink I’ve ordered here. I love that the drinks aren’t overly sweet. You can really taste the depth and subtleties of the flavor. The scones are delicious and the service is always friendly and attentive. I also love that they provide powdered cardamom to sprinkle on your drinks. That’s a fun touch that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Thanks for being here!
