The experience was over-all pretty mid. We were greeted and seated immediately, the waitress was very sweet and attentive. There was a slight issue when we asked for chopstick holders for my 10 year old. They supplied the holders, but the holders don't work on the metal chopsticks they have. It took 3 times of asking, but they eventually found chopsticks that would fit in the holders. If your child needs these, best to bring your own. Otherwise ask for the short green plastic chopsticks, those worked reasonably well.

Weirdly, the sushi rolls came immediately, and we found ourselves in the situation of being finished with our rolls while still waiting on our appetizers, one of which was just edamame. The sushi rolls were tasty, and the mango added a bright and delicious flavor. There was also a hot mustard sauce going on that was pretty good. The salmon sashimi was a good quality fish, but was sliced very small and thin for being priced at 22 dollars for 8 pieces. When the appetizers finally arrived, the edamame was extremely salty. It wasn't inedible but it was definitely oversalted. The other appetizer we ordered was the buta balls, and this is really where the wheels fell off. Not only did they not arrive until we had already been finished with everything else for almost 10 minutes, but they were truly just awful. They are essentially a deep fried tempura batter ball filled with a flavorless mush in the middle. The texture was truly horrendous and neither my daughter or I could take a second bite. The waitress asked how we liked them, and there was no hiding the fact that we had barely touched them, so I let her know they weren't to our liking. She offered to take them off the tab, and when I declined she took half off for them anyways which was very sweet.

All in all, the sushi rolls were good. We might be back if we ever want sushi but don't want to drive to Auburn or Roseville. They are worth a try, but whatever you do, don't order the buta balls lol

Wanted to try out this place since I drive by it often. Great service and Dragon Rolls, Poke bowl was a little different from what we are used to. 15% service charge for take out is over the top. $53.00 for a Dragon roll & Poke bowl. Staying home has it's benefits.

This was my second time going here and I'm still mixed on my opinion. The food was great both times, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The first time, they sat us even though we didn't have a reservation, but then prioritized reservations that were seated long after us. People who sat down 15 minutes after us received their food long before we did, despite us ordering first. This is an absolutely ridiculous policy and it took nearly a year for me to return.

That brings me to tonight. I did have a reservation, so my service was slightly faster. The staff are very nice, just not always efficient. Here's what we ordered:
2 appetizers: edamame and gluten free mixed tempura - to share
2 orders of Nigiri - for me
1 roll - for me
1 hand roll - for husband
1 chicken teriyaki plate - for husband

Here's how the food came out:
1st - all the sushi (yes, before the appetizers)
2nd - both appetizers (5-10 minutes later)

That's it. They completely forgot about the chicken teriyaki plate. The server never even put it in because it wasn't on our check. We had to stop at another restaurant to pick up an entree for my husband to eat at home.

It's also pretty expensive. My Godzilla roll supposedly had 4 different fish in it, but it was pretty thin and small and didn't look like it had all the fish itt was supposed to. I wish I'd taken a picture of it, but $21 is a lot for such a small roll. It was good, but I don't think the high price was justified. The chicken teriyaki and rice dish that we never got was $36. For chicken and rice.

Nourish delivered fresh sushi and sauces quickly, and continued throughout the meal with additional rolls, and knowledge to help guide the experience.
I will talk this little sushi gem up and will be returning soon!

Service is really nice. Place is beauty. The food does not match the price at all. Very expensive for such a place with such quality of food.

This place reopened with new owners and a completly new menu and kitchen! I ate here for the first time and it was completly positive. The old nourish was not my cup of tea at all. Being a picky gluten free vegetarian can be hard and this menu completly catered to my needs and also the tastes of my fishy friends. Everything was very original and well done. Seemed like they used healthier more conscious ingredients and the bill was a lot lower for the same amount of food than the other Nevada city sushi spots. Very happy and will for sure be back and the service was great!

My husband and I had a craving for sushi and were so pleased to get into Nourish last night. Everything was amazing! The service; impeccable! Everything on the menu sounded good to me, it was hard to choose so we over ordered but we enjoyed everything thoroughly and felt great after eating. Our rolls came out really fast and the presentation was beautiful. We will be back again soon! Thank you Nourish!

We wanted something not so heavy in the dead of summer heat and came across Nourish Sushi which sounded delicious. Immediately greeted with warmth and amazing energy by the owner, Lacie! The food was impeccable and super fresh. I wanted to continue eating more but was stuffed lol
We definitely appreciated feeling so welcomed by a lifelong Nevada City local, totally making us feel at home. I know we’ll be coming by any time we’re in town.

I think the online menu is outdated and also is not posted on the window, so until that changes, I can't give a true review. Please post the menu and also on the window, and outside. Mainly online.
