Spent a lovely afternoon tasting wine here over the weekend! Kayla was so friendly and shared fun stories about the decor, winemaker, and the wines. There was a good variety of reds, and all the wines were so reasonably priced for the quality. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town!

It's not like Szabo needs another 5* review, but I'm going to give one anyway! We stopped in for a glass of wine while we were waiting for our take out dinner to be ready elsewhere in town and had an absolutely lovely time meeting Alex and other patrons. The pupper was welcome and we were very sad to leave after only a short visit but our dinner and the pup's dinner called. Will definitely return!

A+ experience all around. The wine is next-level incredible (I literally dream about the Vizir every night) and the best wine you’ll taste in the North Sierra Foothills. Ambiance of the tasting room is lovely (sit on the big leather chairs by the bay window that opens to the street) and I only wish that they were open everyday. Alex, the Owner, is attentive, warm, and a joy to hang out with - he is a hoot! Highly, highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tasting experience. The owner was pouring and was very passionate about his wines and very friendly. The bar has a great feel to it, tons of ambiance. The Vizir was my favorite!

We loved all the wines we tried here—unusual. Taking several home w us:) I tried to ask the vintner about Gruner Veltliner, which I tried along the Danube River, but couldn’t remember the name until I looked it up later:)

Delicious wines! They specialize in Hungarian wine, which are slightly different than what you normally see, just as delicious. My favorite is the Primotivo, which is very similar to Zinfandel. It's delicious! I usually buy a few bottles each time I visit Grass Valley. They are family run, and very friendly.

Best wine in Nevada City, probably in Nevada County- not to mention great atmosphere, usually attended to by the winemaker himself! A real experience- dont miss it- it's a great view of the main street of beautiful historic downtown Nevada City as well.
